The TP wants a min of 900k for all of them. 900k is an awful lot for 3 levels.

That's among the most overpriced items in neopia, then. A Cool Negg will give you much better stats for 300k less (IGIAB is about 900k), and a Super Negg will provide 1 level, and some hp and mov, for about 200k.

What a freaking ripoff.

It's probably not overpriced considering the small supply right now. You get it from higher fishing levels, so as time goes on and pet's fishing levels grow I would expect to see more on the market. They'll probably never be cheap, but I'm betting closer to 100k than 900k eventually.

Exactly, at the moment it only sells for novelty value not for the purpose of the item.

The more people who fish the greater the supply will become and the lower the price will get. And the more people who hear about the items like that, the Flash of Rainbow Fountain Water and the Mysterious Swirly Potion, the more people will fish ^^

With the potential number of fishers in Neopia that item could turn out to be very handy indeed.

Really? Any guess of what level you have to be at before you can (randomly) get one of those?

The page doesn't seem to say but with the highest recorded fishing level being somewhere over 270.... pretty high I'd think!

The higest guy i have is 58 or 59, followed by 52, 11, and 10 xD * had three high ones, but I transfered the pet to my side. I hate how they lose all their fishing skill D:

900K is pretty hig, but consider that it will give 1 - 3 levels to any pet regardless of level, it might be worth it to someone who wants to raise their obscenely-high-level BD pet a few levels rapidly. Compared to the cost and time of sitting through training or the randomness of scratching through treasure trove cards for a level boost, I expect the genie-in-e-bottle will remain fairly high priced. Maybe not 900K but still much more than most other random fishing junk.

The one advantage genie has over neggs is that your pet won't get full. Other than that, I can't see any other reason to do it.

I had a site with a good fishing guide, but lost it. Anyway, at lvl 100 (or was it 90?) you're supposed to be able to catch anything. My 'best' pet, Jenni_Gov, whom I fished with as much I could, has a fishing lvl of 42, but I don't fish with her anymore since she turned Plushie, and I created a new pet as my active one to steer clear of Boochie and the 'turn Invisible' event.

My best pet is level 92, and my other 3 are in the high 80's and I'm still waiting on the Titanic Giant squid for the avie.

I'd love to catch a pike pike or 17-pound trout though, even if just to go in my fishing gallery

Personally, I fish with all 4 of the pets on my main twice daily, including my Darigan Peophin. I figure the odds of getting Boochi in the 4 pageviews it takes per day are minimal.

My lowest pet just passed 100 today, so here's hoping for more good items. :-)
