Help! I have been playing Neopets for 3 years now and I have never had a problem getting into my account. I have been trying to get on now for 3 days and I keep getting the sign in page---I've had to sign in occasionally, but usually I get on without having to. Now when I try and sign in I get "invalid password", and I know I'm using the right password. When I fill out the form to have my password sent, I get no response, nothing! My daughter is also having this problem, so I dont think its just me---maybe Neopets is having some type of "glitch"? Is anyone else having a problem getting into their Neopets account? I'm going through Neopets withdrawl! My Neopets are going to starve! Someone HELP!

Unfortunately, it's possible that you were cookie grabbed and that someone has taken your accounts, changed the passwords, and changed the e-mails those passwords were sent to.

I would e-mail TNT and tell them what's going on. They might be able to get your account working again, but if it was actually hacked into, it's more likely that they'll freeze it, at least initially.

TNT is The Neopets Team.. But I can't find the e-mail...

They don't respond to emails. You'll have to fill out a contact form on the bottom of the neopets.com homepage.

Or, just go to http://www.neopets.com/contact.phtml and save yourself the trouble of clicking there.

Also, make sure your windows clock is correct. Neopets won't let you sign on if your clock is off by too very much, though I don't know how large the error can be. You have at least a 23-hour margin on either side of neopian standard time, though.

Now I get this when I try to login:

It still will not accept my username/password combo even though the e-mails I am sent verify that they are correct.

This is just a guess, but it LOOKS like they think your computer's being used to try to hack accounts, and so they've banned it. I would run a spyware and virus scan and see if it comes up with anything.

Another possiblity is that someone was using a lot of different computers to try to guess your password, and so they blocked access to your account completely.

Either way, email them and see if you can get it resolved.

It doesn't come up with an 'account frozen' message, also I am sent the username and password upon request, so I think the account is still open. I have filled in a report form on the website. I am not holding out much hope. If the service is at the same standard it was when I stopped playing then my report will most likely be ignored. I can't even start a new account instead.
How can I make sure that the account is still active, I can't search it without logging in first?
