Not all clothes are able to be worn. TNT are making new clothes for pets and only a couple of older style hats can be worn.
An item that can be worn will have
(wearable) underneath it when it is in your Inventory.
The Winter Blechy Hat is wearable and costs about 3,500 nps.
If the item is wearable you can put it in your closet. To check, when you use the Quick Stock option you will see the option to put it in the closet. If you can NOT wear it then the Closet will have N/A below it - this means Not Available.
When you have clothes that pets can wear, you can put it in the closet. You then go to Customise! (under your pet, in quick ref) and you will see what clothes your pet can wear.
Not all pets are able to wear all clothes.
