What languages, other than English, do you speak or learn? I'm currently learning Spanish, and I know some Esperanto. How about you?

I know some random words/phrases in French from having to take it in school Grades 4-8.

And a few words and phrases in Punjabi.

I also used to know a little Mandarin but it's gone now

I'm learning Japanese, did about 3 years of French, can introduce/greetings in Korean.

I love learning languages...I want to be a crazy polyglot who knows ten languages.

Currently, I know Spanish almost to fluency and am working on Korean. Next up are Japanese, German and possibly another Romance language.

I can speak Spanish somewhat well...I think I could definitely get around Spain. I only know a little in French. I know some not-so-nice phrases in Czech. And I sing in Italian and Latin (usually have to look up the definitions in my dictionaries).

Tagalog and Spanish.

It's inevitable that someone will ask, "where the heck is 'Tagalog' from?", so I'll answer by saying that it's widely spoken in the Philippines, an island nation south of Japan, and the native land of my mother's side of the family.

I did a three years of French, but that doesn't add up to a pile of beans, and I know random words from various languages, such as Spanish, French, German, Dutch & Japanese. They don't add up to much either.

I did two years of Spanish, but that was almost two years ago now, so I don't remember much.

I'm learning French right now (this is my 6th year in school of learning it), and I know some random words and phrases in Spanish (it helps knowing another similar language, like French, and having one your aunts be Mexican )

Speculation Central - Thinking about the future... Today!

I took Spanish in high school, but don't remember much of it.

I've been doing Spanish for the past 5 years at my school, and my final SG exam is in about 2 weeks, and after that I'm never going back to do Spanish again. Ever.

I also can understand brief fragments of Italian and Catalan, as they are both similar to Spanish (And yes, I know that Catalan is a hybrid of Spanish and French).

I can speak enough Spanish to get along with the cooks at my favorite tex-mex restaurant, but that's about it.

I read Spanish much better than I speak it, and I can also read Latin.

Oh, and Pig Latin! I speak that quite well.
