I have a rather laggy internet connection - 2MBps split over 5 separate computers, all of which are used heavily, so I don't have much chance of competing in main shops, and since the 'restocking times' have been abolished, I don't have enough time in the day to just sit about refreshing, waiting for a restock. In lighter news, I will soon be moving onto the 16 MBps that Sky Broadband offers - which would speed up my computer drastically.

So I ask you; is there any decent profit to be made via the shop wizard? What items should I be looking for, and for what kind of price? I've been away from Neopets for a little while, and I've noticed Codestones have almost DOUBLED in price. What would be a reasonable price for each of them, if I plan to sell them on?

Sorry about the newbish questions, I'm hopeless when it comes to Neopets. 47 months, and I've only made 1,900,000... However, 500K of that had been spent on the Laboratory Map.

Also, would it be a good idea for me to find several friends to open up a small 'mall' together, I mean, clearly it won't be anything like a mall; but surely it'd increase the traffic to my shop, if I have it linked to several others? What would be a good type of item to sell?

That's a good site, cheers.

Anyone else got any ideas?

EDIT: I've noticed different bits of the Lab Map sell for different prices. Is there any guide showing what each piece is worth?

Seeing as the prices tend to change pretty fast with Tarla Giveaways and such, your best bet is probably just searching them in the SW. It brings up one kind of piece at a time and you can click into a shop to tell if you are looking at the prices for the map piece you are pricing out.

Here is a trick to use on the SW when shopping for secret lab map pieces. Hover your mouse over the seller and look at the id number, you can tell what piece is being offered without opening the page.

#1 - 8442
#2 - 8443
#3 - 8444
#4 - 8445
#5 - 8446
#6 - 8447
#7 - 8448
#8 - 8449
#9 - 8450

Yeah, medicinal soap is a bit too hard to get, for me. My internet isn't the fastest, and they don't restock that often/with many.

I'm looking for some lower-rarity items, that still sell well, but aren't excessively popular with the professional restockers.

We can all dream xP I kid. Another good place is Trop Fruits on / for a few weeks after Gadsgadsbogen (Day?), as the new fruits stock in droves, and it takes a while for prices to drop sufficiently that its no longer worth it.
