Everything is a lot smaller. I feel like I am in outer space looking down at it--which is maybe what they were trying to accomplish.

It was a shock when I first saw it, but I guess I will get used to it--if I could get used to that new toolbar, I can probably adjust to anything (except #3 winning the kougra contest).


And, ixipop, if you move your mouse over any of the different places, the name of it comes up.

Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?

Moon uses Flash for the maps. Much better, much funner.

On a side note, Kreludor isn't in the lower left hand corner, which is really strange, since there's been a circular spot there when the map loads up that loads differently than the other stars. (First there's dark blue for the background, then stars come in, then the circle came in... not sure if it still does that though)

I like HTML better because I don't have to wait for the map to load before clicking. I use broadband too.

Gave me quite a shock at first, then I had to see if I'd missed it in the news.

Things don't look smaller to me..

Yes, in comparing it to the old map, they aren't smaller. It just looks that way because the labels covered up a lot of the map--particularly the oceans and the outer space area. But, it does look "naked" and plain without the labels.
