The newer Shockwave games aren't downloading for me. There is only a black space. I did download the newest Macromedia software. Any ideas?

That happens to me sometimes. I just slowly walk away from my computer for a while and then try it again and then it usually works ;) lol

A couple of the newer games (the slorg and petpet sitter) are larger in file size. I've only been able to play the slorg game once. Now it won't load at all. And yes, I have the latest flash, shockwave and direct x. Petpet sitter? Get a black screen, wait a few minutes, the game loads, then another black screen, then the game screen. I figured it's because I'm on dial up. I can also usually only play petpet sitter once, maybe twice if I'm really lucky before I lose my internet connection.

I opened my task manager, minimized it so just the cpu usage would show on the taskbar - petpet sitter uses up to 90% of my system resources - 1800+ amd athlon, 1 gig RAM, 80 gig hd with about 95% resources free, only other programs are my a/v and spyware.

So patience is the solution to my problem. I think I'll delete my cache and stuff today and try to play again. Thank you the_mongoose2020 and everconfused.
