Something to do! Finally! (even if it's two maps) Anywho, anyone else notice that the second map conviently shows some evidence that Hoban planned the storm and where the ship would end up, forcing the crew to land at MI? *shrugs* Maybe it's just my delusional mind talking, but something's fishy ...

Mine is the same as that as well.

On second look, the island the ship seems to be heading toward is NOT MI, but rather somewhere under the ice cap of the "antarctic"... right???

Virre, I agree.

First things first, is everyone's grid map (the one in the glass above the desk) the same?

Here's mine:

(snip) The avatar, or attainment thereof, are subsidiary to the plot and performing the actions required to attain the avvie are not required to advance in the plot.

(snip) the items we need to mix will HAVE to be readily available, or cheap, or free, as I don't see TNT throwing up a major expense ...

Well this may be a long shot, and Ollie's comments probably are just for taunting us until TNT decides to settle our curiosity about the nothing-to-do-but-read-comic plot thus far, however I was also reminded of the headless meepit and money going into a piggy bank for parts of the Altador plot. So ...

simon is now known as Times New Roman.

Which stinks, because Times is so boring, but The Petpet Formerly Known as Simon has such a lively and party-type personality.

For anyone interested I found a decent guide which does a nice job of summarizing possible theories, and includes screenies of items that are being thrown all over the boards as OMG MAJOR CLOO!!!!s. It seems this could be a level-headed guide in the longrun:

Addendum to First Post?

Maybe a note should be added to the first post mentioning that your star coordinates will change after going through the motions required to find the first constellation (ie, talking to the lenny, etc.)

That point wasn't clear to me, and I spent about an hour futzing around with my original ...

I'm wondering if alot of the questions regarding the scroll reading after the first crystal can be stemmed by amending the information in the first post.

It currently reads

"Take the symbols that were designated for that color and read them in order as found in your DIRECTORY (NOT your tablet ...

That's irony right there folks.

And just because Dirtside is Mr. Insane on Neopets, doesn't make it true here.

I'll see your accusation and raise you my userlookup .

D'oh!

Well, now that I have achieved my light, I am ready to delve into the mysterious world of scrolls. I hope I get ...

I've also done alot of looking into variable translations of the tablet and haven't come up with anything.

I've anagrammed the current prophecy, attempted to do a symbol->letter decodification, even tried to use the parchment puzzler avvie as a template for decodification. All to no avail, of ...

Hmm. Well, it's an actual word as well, having something to do with fabrics or something, I think.

It's not quite like "Usul" or something that has no rest-of-the-world meaning.

This is totally a long shot, but worth a consideration:

Has anyone found any "special ding words" that start with vowels? I'm wondering if an acronym could be formed from the letters beginning the words.

So far we have LHDRSN (this includes only the non-Neopian words), which have good ...
