a=100 b=150 isn't a possible set of numbers.
A+B must be >= 400. (and less that the diagional distance across the square+400) |

Is that the easiest formula there is? Because there's no way I can do that in the 30 seconds I have to place the final dot.
program it into excel, or a web page, or something else like that. |

Um...when I drag my singularity to 0,0 I don't get anything....
Are you locking it in? You have to lock it in every time... |

Here's how you do the grav one.
put the first hole at 0,0. the resulting number is $a put the second hole at 400,0 the resulting number is $b
here's the math to find the x,y to place the third one at:
$x = ($a*$a - $b*$b + 160000)/800; $y = sqrt(abs($a*$a - $x*$x));
you need to get within +-5 of ... |

Hmm not sure I like such a low cap number (if that is what TNT decides to do) .. That kinda sends out the message that you don't really need to train your pet for the plots/wars because everyone that can beat the challengers at least 30 times will max out.
I'm no where near maxed out with the ... |

Oh well, If I had stayed up last night I would have gotten them eventually. But Sleep's more important.
Much thanks to ninboy. |

2 3 mods down, and all my incompletes have become complete.
They're 10 places with 1 new symbol.
My key is: Z=0 X=1 V=2 C=3 8=4 P=5
and I assume the new one is 6 but I haven't verified that. |

I'm having trouble with the significance of the key especially since I'm guessing. Anyone willing to explain the key? The key is the first element you're summing. KEY +MOD1 +MOD2 = Result
(Note: I didn't see any carrying in the 2 modifier puzzles, and I would have if the symbols are distinct and ... |

It depends on your key. In one 2 modifier puzzle X+X=V, but in another X+X=C Of course it depends on your key. That was why I included it in my question. In all my 2 modifier puzzles, in any position, a key of V + a modifier of V + a modifier of V gave a result of X and so forth through the ... |

Solved all my 2 modifier ones.
now to try the 3 modifiers.
(how I did it: I made a table of all the combinations that started with the V_ symbol, and determined that there are only 3 possible combinations for a leading V_ for each result. on each puzzel I had a V_ in the key somewhere, so I just ... |

In case people missed it:
Note the table at the bottom of
m
It lists all the results of processing the ingredients. It appears that it's the same for everyone. (It worked for me.)
Given that, one should be able to generate a recepy for any requirement without having to do any experimenting ... |
