I honestly don't know if I'll be able to finish in 2 days time... so *crosses fingers* I'll do my best, but can't promise anything. If I can develop my idea quickly, I can have a chance.

Yes, I wish I had more time. I have a really good concept, but it would take awhile.

There's a chance that I may be able to finish it, but ever since yesterday, I've have been ill and have been having horrible side pains that have kept me from sitting down and drawing this stuff out. Wednesday I'm having a field trip to Chicago so that will give me plenty of time to draw things out, the only problem is that they won't be coloured. Chances are I'll have something ready, it just won't be as great as I wanted it to be.

Mr. Ammer, I have the opportunity to introduce you to a different kind of game in an already booming medium. As you may know, Massively Multiplayer Online Games (also known as MMORPG's) are becoming increasingly popular, as well as 'party games', or games that are meant to be played with many people.

One of the best known party games, called WEREWOLF, has been played for years on internet forums and game sites. The only problem with this, though, is that you are never really immersed in the universe, because it is nothing more than a few posts.

WEREWOLF ONLINE attempts to change that. Offering game play with anyone, anywhere, an immersive universe, and an inexpensive charge, WEREWOLF ONLINE (WWO) is sure to be a hit.

What you see next is the tentative game photograph for the game's Personal Computer release.

Image

Here is a bit more information on WEREWOLF ONLINE:

Concept:

The concept of Werewolf Online is to allow players from all over the world to play the game of Werewolf at any time with others from all over the globe. The game also provides a wide array of options for both the narrator and player, as well as random twists which can be integrated into any game.

Special Features:

[x] An in depth tutorial for new players, featuring a variety of situations that the player must work out. The tutorial also covers multiple roles so that the player may learn different aspects of the game.
[x] Varying difficulty levels to please all kinds of players; from the casual pickup game to the cutthroat competition. There are several different rooms which players may enter depending on their level of skill.
[x] A state-of-the-art chat system, as socializing is such an integral part of the game. This includes multiple filters, expandable chat windows, and a variety of ways to make certain messages stand up.
[x] Many different narrator options, which allows the narrator to set up which roles are a part of the game, how long the game can run, and other important factors.
[x] ‘Themes’ which may be set. The roles will remain the same, but the names of the roles, different graphics, and other features will change when a theme is chosen. Themes include Shakespearean era, Anime, and many more!
[x] A new way to play - hysteria. This allows the narrator to create up to five new roles on their own and may have them be part of their game.
[x] A special competitive circuit, where the best of the best players may pit themselves against one another to win physical prizes promoting the game and it’s sponsors.
[x] A user-friendly interface which allows for all the information needed for the game to be right at the player’s fingertips. Your role details, important current game information, and more.
[x] A small, but powerful, graphics engine. Each player may choose a different avatar at the start of the game (you may create more avatars at any time) and that will be who represents that player throughout the course of the game. When a player is killed, the kind of wounds that were inflicted upon them will show up on the game screen.
[x] An inexpensive rate to play, unlike other games of it’s nature. You get two free months of play when you purchase the game, and it is only $5.00 for every six months of play.

For a PREVIEW of the interface, please go to http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v65/aero_ziggy/LayoutJPEG.jpg

Thank you for your time, Mr. Ammer, and I hope that you see Werewolf Online as an entertaining and profitable venture!

Wolfonian Deer wrote:
A wolf howls in the distance, or not so distant. Depending on what you are, and the alliances you have made, you either take it as a friendly greeting, or a possible threat. For you can choose what to be… whom to make friends with… and what to do…

You can choose to be one of two species: Deer, or Wolf, in a variety of many colors. Although colors hold no major factor, other than whether you blend into your surroundings or not, the species are very important. This helps decide whether you are more or less likely to be attacked… and by what group.

Deer are the harder group to play. Although some will help them, most wolves attack a deer on sight for food. Hence it makes it harder to go anywhere. However, it is easier to make alliances with other deer. It is easier to find food, as there is plenty of vegetation you can eat. Hooves, and if you have them, antlers, are your only protection from hungry wolves. All must complete the required things to go on to the next level, each level requires a different thing.

Wolves are the easier group to play. However, alliances aren’t as easily made – deer are distrusting, should you choose to help them, and wolves stay mostly with your own pack. However, once you have a pack, you are usually better off in than in the first place, as they are highly loyal. Teeth and claws are your weapons; a thick coat of fur is your defense.

The purpose of this game is survival. To go from a young Pup or Fawn to dying of old age. Of course… there are a few things that will certainly make this a complicated!

You start off as a Pup, if you are a wolf, or a Fawn, if you are a deer. In this level, you must learn the basics, how to defend yourself and to find food. If you are a wolf, you learn how to hunt, if you are a deer you learn what type of vegetation you can eat. In other words, it’s the tuition level. You get one alliance in this level, whom you make it with decides whom you can make alliances with in the future. To continue to the next level, you must successfully make one alliance, and learn how to take care of yourself.

When that level is over, the challenge begins. Now you must actually work for your food, and are noticed by your enemies. You must also compete for many things. Food, water, and In some cases… alliances. There are more chances to make them, though. You must also be on the search for places you can hide, or use for shelter, one that will keep out the rain and keep you and your alliances safe. To go on to the next level, you must make at least three alliances, and find four safe places. That isn’t as easy as it seems, however…

With another level complete, you move onto the next. More alliances must be made, however, it is not mandatory to go onto the next level. Sickness has been introduced, if you are attacked to severely and manage to survive, you run the risk of infection. Other things may give you sickness, as well. Your enemies are still out there, and still you fight to survive. To go onto the next level, you must not become sick. If you do, you must be able to heal yourself completely before continuing.

With a new level comes another enemy – Man. With them come their weapons and traps, you must learn how to avoid all of them. Although your enemies (wolves if you are a deer, deer if you are a wolf, for the most part, although there are a few exceptions) fear them also, they will not hesitate to attack you. Alliances become important in this level, now you will see whether you chose well in trusting them. To complete this level, and the game, you must successfully manage to survive all attacks by men, until hunting season is over.

Now… if this was only the easy level, what would it be like in the hard level?

SIMIO: Adventure in Monkeyland

Image

When young Simio discovers an ancient tablet hidden in the jungle, he firstly mistakes this with a handy dish. Afterwards he realizes that the tablet is in fact the map to the forgotten Bananopia, "the place with lots of bananas".
To reach Bananopia, Simio will need your help!
Guide him trough mazes, forests, riddles, enemies and, of course, bananas.
Monkeyland is waiting for you.

About bananas.
Bananas are the most important item in the game: they restore your health and you can exchange them with other items you need. They also increase your strenght, so try to have some with you all the time.
Some areas don't have bananas, so you'll have to save up the ones you previously got.
The golden banana is a checkpoint: when you die you'll restart from the last one you touched.

Levels guide

Level 1: the Jungle
You start your journey in the jungle, your home. Since you can't read, you need someone to explain you the meaning of the symbols on the tablet.
A friend will suggest you to speak with Kitty the Cat, who lives on the Northern Plain. There isn't much to fear in the jungle, so you can relax and collect lots of bananas to use later.
To reach the plains you'll have to cross a rope bridge (careful not to fall over!) and avoid the other monkey clans who will try to steal your bananas.

Level 2: the Plains
To meet Kitty the Cat you'll have to fight against your first enemies, cats and dogs. They're pretty strong but dumb, so you should defeat them easily.
Kitty the Cat is busy leading the war against the dogs and will refuse to see you. Bring him some fish as a present, and he'll find some time for you.
He'll translate the ancient symbols and tell you that you'll need to cross fire, water, ice and darkness. Being a dumb monkey you won't understand, so the cats will show you the way to the desert and tell you to go on until you reach the sea, then ask for directions.

Level 3: the Desert
The main difficulty in this level will be saving your bananas, since they're very rare here. The shortest way to reach the ocean is by passing from an oasis to another. Try not to lose your way.
The enemies of this area are mainly scorpions - their poison paralyzes for some seconds, be careful!
When you finally reach the sea, grab as many bananas as you can and then jump on a log to cross. The stream will take you to the other side.

Level 4: the Icebergs
Here you'll travel from an iceberg to another, looking for the penguins.
Angry bears will try to have you down to their caves for dinner... as the main course.
Try to avoid the snowballs they throw, and be careful not to step on the broken ice.
Since the penguins don't speak your language, you'll need to visit an old polar bear. In exchange for some items he'll teach you some words you can use to chat with the penguins.
They'll show you a portal in a cave, that leads to the underworld.

Level 5: the Underworld
The last level is underground, in a graveyard infested with monsters and traps. Be careful: the skull marks a dangerous place, so if it's in your way try to find another route.
Most of the enemies will attack you, but some will ask you to fetch long-lost items or challenge you to a riddle contest.
The last boss is the Skeleton King, a huge red-eyed gorilla.
Don't worry and use all your bananas - you'll need them to win!
After defeating the gorilla, he'll drop an amulet. It will teleport you to Bananopia, which is actually your homeland (monkeys aren't that good at geography)...
And there you'll live happily ever after eating bananas.

okiedoke, here we go. It's all I can come up with - I'm pretty handy with photoshop but I can't make video-game-esque graphics.

(explanation that goes on the back of the game, etc)

To the world, he is a legendary warrior. To the Wolf, he is prey.

Raoul has been tied to this Wolf since birth. The Wolf is spun of old wives' tales and legends - but by now Raoul himself is halfway considered a legend of the past. This Wolf, called many names but mostly Moore King, has begun calling Raoul, singing to the darker regions of his soul.

Raoul must fight for his life.

And so he does. He sets off on a quest, a Great Hunt to end all hunts; he is tied to the Wolf and as he hunts he follows the Moore King through the world. The Wolf leads him through lands no man has ever walked before, through ice storms and desert fire - even into the nighttime sky and once through the realm of Death. Does he have what it takes to destroy the Moore King? If he succeeds, he will be safe from the Wolf's clever machinations. If he fails...then there will be only ghosts to mourn.

Collect coins from fallen enemies or grateful friends to buy your weapons. Fight the minions of the wolf to continue with your quest. Train a mighty warhorse to serve as your steed - or will you prefer to be the captain of a massive ship? You decide in this exciting new game by Eidolonware!

-----------------------------
(detailed explanation of one level)

In one level, you must travel through a city hunting the Wolf. In his wake he leaves terrible fires and Raoul is faced with continuing his quest or rescuing people who cry out for him. The decisions you make will change Raoul in future levels. In this level there is some gameplay outside the buildings, including one maze of fallen and burning trees, mad dashes to avoid crowds of hysteric people, and dodging the Moore King's monsters. If you choose to rescue some or many of the people, the level can involve navigating safely through burning buildings and a more in-depth exploration of the city itself.

The fires do harm Raoul, briefly, unless he becomes trapped in a burning building, in which case he has only a few seconds to escape before his air runs out. Grateful villagers are likely to give you a few coins in thanks, though they're not rich enough to give you magical artifacts. At one point, if you choose to rescue a groom from the village's stable, he will ask you to open the stall doors of the horses to let them flee - if you do so, the rewards are great, but the quest is dangerous. If you choose to do so, then you simply follow the sounds of terrified horses. You must quickly open the doors by pressing a rapid sequence of buttons, otherwise the hot metal burns your hand. Be careful to get out of the way - those horses come out fast! If you rescue all of the horses, you will meet the groom in another city later on, and in thanks, he will teach you how to catch and train wild horses. This is a very useful ability.

-----------
(special features)

Some special features in this game involve:
* Bonus levels in reward for completing tasks, in which you may gain extra coins (which are used to buy transport, disguises, weapons, or for bribing guards.)
* The ability to learn how to catch and train wild horses in a complex but rewarding process. Train your own savage warhorse or calm a frantic mare; you can earn the title Horsetamer and make money by helping horses. This also gives you access to some higher political circles, because in some cities horses are considered very important...
* Special levels. As mentioned before, there is one level that takes you through the Night Sky hunting the Wolf. Many times it taunts you with a glittering constellation or soft cloud in its own shape, but always it is the darkness far ahead. Raoul must use all of his skills to stay alive, for some of the clouds are solid, and some are not. This is the final level.
* You may pick many side ventures. If you choose to go the way of a ship, you may build a fleet and be protected wherever you go, or be a single quiet ship. If you go the way of the horse you may breed them for a stronger, faster, more intelligent horse. If you walk, you may learn how to track and walk silently through woods - a useful skill to learn. You can go into cities disguised as a jester or a simple farmer and change your speech accordingly.
* Maybe, just maybe - if you are very lucky and if enough coins go into the right pockets - you may get one chance to see and train a wingèd horse, the rumored archenemy of the Wolf and a great help in the Night Sky if you succeed. It is a rare thing indeed and if you meet it at all you will have only one chance, so be quick.

-------------------
(summaryishthing)
In summary, Wolf Hunt is a game with a wide variety of options, designed to cater to a player's ideas. If the gamer wishes Raoul to be a juggling ship captain with a parrot or two, then that is what the gamer will be able to do. Many levels involve varying heights of difficulty, while numerous side quests effectively increase the options a player has within the game. In the final showdown between Raoul and the Wolf, we will discover who each of them is within themself - and that is all I can tell you. Thank you for watching this presentation, and have a wonderful day!

[funny how several of us have Wolf-y ideas. I had this idea quickly, after exploring the idea of a game based at sea, though. I like that Wolves and Deer game, it sounds like something I'd play :D]

Rating - Teen for Violence and Mild Language
1-4 Players

(This will be explained as if it were on the PS2)

Story

For many decades, the two empires of Fyrth and Volrath have been disputing over money, land, and law. The kingdom of Fyrth resides on the grassy plains and forest, while Volrath is part of the harsh landscape that makes up Gaea’s Eye, the largest volcano in Gaia. One event, the obliteration of an entire Fyrthian envoy, triggered what is now known as the War of the Seasons, named for the four forces that would eventually struggle over the land and government and the colours that would be affiliated with them. But before the war was formally announced, there were talks of rebellion, mostly from the Fyrth Empire and by those that lost the sense of honor by the upcoming war. There were also reports of casualties to the Cloudwalkers, a race that resides in the clouds, seas, and beaches. Soldiers that were rumoured to rebel, were exiled from the kingdom with no further discussion. While it was a rather large group of soldiers, a traveling group of merchants seem to have been the target. In the first few months of the War of the Seasons consisted of battle after blood battle fought between Fyrth and Volrath forces. After more casualties came to the Cloudwalkers, a fleet was sent to neutralize both forces. While the Cloudwalkers were rather small in numbers in comparison to the Fyrth and Volrath, their great skill will a blade and ability to take the skys give them a slight edge. While the three forces clashed, something else was brewing in the swamp lands...

Story of Fyrth (Green/Spring)

(In the respect to the deadline, only one soldier will be mentioned by name ;) )

The basic government of Fyrth revolved around the church. The highest ranking officials were always (except in very few cases) priests or higher-ups of the church hierarchy. There had always been tension between Fyrth and the volcanic kingdom of Volrath. Geographically, Volrath was just across the plains from Fyrth, but a long tread indeed. The Volkans held different beliefs in the laws and how to handle thieves and law-breakers. While Fyrthians though that a few of these treatments were a bit... extreme, Volkans believed that those who would endanger another should be eliminated. While this was just a petty debate, the supposedly wrongful slaughter of 15 Fyrthian natives and the Volkan Expansion (to be mentioned later) is what actually brough t the war on.

Before the war, the government made a slow transition into the darkness and there were talks of rebellion. Anyone that was thought to be one of these rebels were exiled without a chance of explanation.

As the war is started, one of the clergy’s most trusted warrior was given the duty to lead a full frontal assault on an enemy camp belonging to Volrath. This warrior’s name is Kyrin (Kai-rin) and is equipped with a spear/trident. His race is wolf. As the story progresses, the Fyrthian government becomes seemingly corrupt and actually plotting certain malevolent plans of their own.

Story of Volrath (Red/Summer)

(Same was above, only one character will be introduced)

Volrath was a kingdom based purely on power and example. Most residents had tempers as fiery as the land they lived on. One day, out of the complete blue, a Volkan messenger found a sash on the ground. Inside was a piece of paper with a message stating that there would be a planned night raid on the city when the moon is centered in the sky. Turn out that strangers did in fact appear in Volrath at the specified time. As the Volkans were readied, the intruders were spotted and killed without much of a challenge. The intruders were later reported as Fyrthians. Messages were exchanged by the two kingdoms and eventually one was sent to the Volkan Empire that stated that the 15 natives killed were traveling merchants that were supposed to arrive at the same time as the other letter stated. Of course, the rash Volkans saw right through this and warned of a possible war on the Fyrthian for their stupidity. Old flames were slowly extinguished until the Volkan government came up with a way to expand their influence. This was the Volkan Expansion, which was the attempt to conquer 1/3 of the uninhabited land. This is what started the War of the Seasons. Tharn, the kingdom’s ruler, leads his own troops into battle, armed with a large broadsword. As all of the inhabitants of Volrath are, Tharn is a lizard.

Story of the Cloudwalkers (Blue/Winter)

The Cloudwalkers are a mysterious race that, as far as anyone knows, has no definite residence. They are known for their powerful magic and flight ability and are usually spotted near the sandy shores and the ocean. They are involved in the war because of the casualties that they wrongfully suffered to the Fyrthian and Volkan troops. Nothing else is known about them. The beaches and ocean are further south of the Fyrthian and Volkan empires, but in between them. A masked mage named Rathys (Rath-us) seems to stand out from the rest of the flock. All of the Cloudwalkers are avian-esque

Story of the Cult (Black/Autumn)

The only place safe for the Fyrthian exiles were the swamp lands, as no one inhabited them. This rather large group of soldiers lived in secrecy and secluded from the outside world. Eventually, they reached the edge of sanity and lost all moral values they has once known. No one knows how, but a cult of grim warriors were made out of it. They could be fighting for revenge, but are they really sane enough to remember what had once happened to them? Sawtooth, a rat, is the clan’s leader.

+--Basics of the Game–+

Choose from one of 20 warriors (4 initially, and 4 to unlock on each side) and battle your way through field, swamps, mountains, and other countless terrain as you fight for glory and for honor. The physical fighting system is played very similarly to the Dynasty Warriors series, with the Charge System (ST, SST, ...SSSSST). There is also magic that can be assigned to certain buttons for efficient activation.

Magic

Magic specialties are as follows:
Fyrth - Healing and Enhancement Magic (White Magic)
***Volrath - Physical and Fire Magic
Skywalkers - Black Magic with an Ice Magic
***Cult - Physical, Black, and White Magic.

*** - Are mostly physical fighters, so they have an overall weaker magic power average as the others.

NOTE: Each side can learn almost every type of magic, these are just the specialized innate abilities.

Abilities

Each clan also has innate abilities, they are as follows:

Fyrth - White Power Boost - White Healing Magic heals for more, and Protection spells have a longer duration.
Alchemy - Can make a potion once every 30 seconds.

Volrath - Power Boost - Power increases at a rate of 110% (rather than 100%)
Power Max Boost - Power max gets a 10% boost

Cloudwalker - Ice Boost - Ice Magic Atk and Def are increased by 30% (as opposed to 0%)
Magic Boost - Magic Atk and Def are increased by 15% (as opposed to 0%)
Flight - Has the ability to fly

Cult - Necromancy - Revives 10% of all dead cult members. (Twice a battle)
Drain - Drains the HP of all enemies within a certain radius.

Strength and Weaknesses

Each of the Four Seasons (or clans) has a weakness, they are as follows:

Autumn>Summer>Spring>Winter>Autumn
Cult>Volkans>Fyrthians>Cloudwalkers>Cult
Black>Red>Green>Blue>Black

(Whichever is easier to understand)

In other words, each clan takes 5% more damage from the clan it’s weak against. Any further modifications would give too much of an edge.

Misc

The levels and story progression will depend on which officer from which of the four sides you choose. If you choose a Fyrthian, the battles and story will be different than that of the Cult. Each character has 10 battles before the end of their scenario. After the scenario is finished, (or in some cases, certain guidelines are met) a new character and story will be unlocked for that clan.

Levels

There are several battlefield, but there’s not much to say about them other than their boosting effects:

Plains - No boost effect, and clear or most objects

Forests - 5% Defense to all Fyrthians on the field, speed of all non Fyrthians decreased by 10%, very difficult for Cloudwalkers to attack from the sky

Mountains - 5% Defense to all Volkans on the field, Fire Pits deal damage to all non-Volkans. Damage depends on Fire Defense.

Beachs - 5% Defense to all Cloudwalkers on the field, speed of all non-Cloudwalkers decreases by 10%

Swamps - 5% Defense to all Cultists on the field, speed of all non-Cultists decreases by 10%, very difficult for the Cloudwalkers to attack from the sky

Stat Boosts

Every officer has specific initial stats (HP,MP,ATK,DEF). Items can be picked up randomly in random crate-like objects (like dead tree trunks or in under rocks) or found after killing an enemy officer.

Herbs - Put up Max HP
Potion - Put up Max MP
Sword - Puts up Attack
Shield - Puts up

Modes of Play

Story Mode - Play as one of 20 officers as you fight through 10 levels to reveal your fate.

Free Mode - Replay any battles you have done already with any clan. You have the freedom to choose your battle.

Vs. Mode - Up to 4 players can battle in many different multiplayer modes, such as All Out (each players is an officer from one of the 4 clans [cannot be the same as another player] and fight to see who prevails, among others

Online Mode - Customize you own warrior and battle it out on the internet like an MMORPG! Create your own clans and battle other clans for superiority.

I think that’s about it :p

Sorry if it doesn’t make much sense, I had too many ideas running through my head at the same time... x_x
