FYI, the megaman games are very the same but very different. They have developed different styles (original, X, battle network, legends, zero). original, X, and zero are very the same but insanely different. They just have different feels to them. X has different amors, zero has all those different weapons, element chips, and in the sencond one, the CHAIN ROD (think spiderman)! Legends was 3d and really different from the regular versions. Battle network is a completely new game with a really new battle system. While pokemon has a lot of different games, it still has problems. Number one: Most of them are the exact same thing in a different package. Number two: Some of them just STINK! If the first one didn't adress the game you are thinking of, the second one certainly will. Now, with all that said, I prolly will be getting emerald, but I really shouldn't be because it will be very similar to R/S. Pokemon has been fun but it is running out of time. If they pull out something REALLY new and fun, it may have a chance, but if they don't, pokemon is done. That's my two cents.

I don't know exactly what you mean. Pokémon is made by Nintendo and is only available on Nintendo consoles. But Mario is also made by Nintendo and only for Nintendo consoles. Mario was probably a bad example.

But the thing is, Pokemon isn't based off of making an entirely new game every time. They can't make the game worse if no major components are actually removed. For instance, no Pokemon are removed, but more are added every set of games. (This is why Mario Party is now dumb and cruddy.)

Also, look at Nintendo's "Official Seal of Quality." The no longer use the Seal of Quality (I guess they can no longer guarantee quality in games ) but instead have switched to the "Official Seal."

I happen to like Pokemon. And I happen to be excited. I also happen to be offended. I don't see why people must be so rude. I don't care if they don't like Pokemon,but I do care if they find it fun to be disrespectful.

I don't like Pokemon, but I've always found the games entertaining. I always end up chucking at a wall or something because it restarts on its own or something weird happens. I always get the screwed up games. -.-
