UPDATE: i have decided that i'm going to make the closing date for this competition next weekend - so the 19th of September i'd really like for more people to enter, and i'd really like to have some more sets in the themes that havent been done yet (i've highlighted them in blue)


I have decided to hold a set contest, as even though I'm getting better at making set's for other people, but have no inspiration in regards to sets for myself.

The prize shall be at least 10k for the winner, and 5k each for 2 runners up. (depending on how many np i earn before the contest ends), and a graphics request for the winner and runners up (if you want one)
I shall also send everyone a little something for participating.

Stuff I like:
~ Kermit the frog (and many of the 'muppets parodies')
~ finding Nemo
~ Shrek
~ Monsters Inc
~ LOTR - espech (but not only) the hobbits and aragorn(sp)
~ Heath ledger
~ Evanescence
~ Australia and Australian stuff (particularly perth)
~ winnie the pooh
~ neopets - i like loads of stuff, but there's also loads i'm not so fond of. some stuff i like includes spotted kau's, vira, plushie lenny, most grey pets, tyrannian acara, but there's loads more - just ask if you wanna know)
~ my parrot - here are some photos:here, here and here i'll get some more photos when i can
~ Heinz super bean adverts!! the ads can be found here, along with pics. any of the lines in the adverts would make cool subtexts. here's some examples, but not the only ones i like: "the well endowed god of love and .... fibre" "i'm a superbean, and you should be worshipping at my feet" "i am the superbean with iron and stuff, i hang with the meats and jacket potatoes", there are loads more on the adverts tho. i would take some screen shots, but my computer won't show the ads, it'll play the sound but not the picture.
~ I also like cute stuff and flowers. pretty things
~ Me to you bears (Tatty Teddies) (new)
~ flower fairys (new)

You can put either r4che1 or rachel on the sig/av. subtext is up to you, it'd be nice, but not necessary and should match the pic.

Obviously it has to be within the size limits (80x80 for the av and 100x400 for the sig) but neither have to be that big, if they look better smaller, feel free to make them smaller.

If you have an idea for a set but aren't sure if i'd like it, just PM me or reply in this thread, i'll be happy to answer any questions.

That was my fifth shot at the av, I was having trouble with the sizing. Third shot at sig for same reason and for text.
