I hate Train 48, I don't know who would watch that stupid show.

The Skittle Grandma Commercial

Grandma: *eats skittles* Check it, check it, I'm a bad grandma busting move to shock ya! *flashes grandson*

*Grandson is shocked and covers grandma*

That is a very degrading commercial. That grandma or elderly lady should be ashamed of herself for stooping that low for a commercial.

Not to mention very gross....Ew...

-OK, this is actually from around 2001. It's the infamous Go Yaffa! commercial.

Annoying voiceover lady: Goooooooooo Yaffa, and reinvent a room. Your favourite room! Yaffa goes floor to ceiling like a SKYSCRAPER! Be creative! Go stacking! GROWING YAFFA! They were these stacking box thingies. Whoop-de-doo.

-There's a rather...disturbing commercial for Boost Mobile Phones with a bunch of old people. This is the gist of it.

Old lady: So I two-wayed my friend and she's like, "Wanna go to a bangin' party yo?" And I'm like, "Yeah!" And she's like, "Wanna two-way Alisha?" And I'm like "Hells yeah," and now we're all at this baaaaaaaaaangin' party and gettin' ten kinds of nastay...*cut to some old people doing hip thrusts* Where you at?

They're not as bad as the Old Navy Holiday Hotline ones, though. Those were just...*cringes*

Commercials first
That one Coca-Cola commercial with the teens in it. Where the kid keeps getting busted by his mom. And during the commercial it's showing these teens spit swapping, acting like skanks, acting like punks and UGH.
I HATE that commercial with a passion! I just want to karate chop the person who thought it was a good idea.

Aflak Commercials... I'm so tired of that duck I just want some restraunt to grab it and serve it to me BBQ'd with fried rice.

TV Shows
World's Wildest Police Chases, When Animals Attack, Man vs Beast, pretty much all of those horribly crappy shows that come on FOX.

Cops... I don't have anything against cops. But that show just needs to go away. It's SO lame when they do that Prostitute bust thing that seems to be so popular. And the way some of them act it up for the camera (making snide "clever" remarks when they catch the criminal) makes me want to vomit. (I don't watch the show on my own.. bf's grandfather loves it and he controls the tv at his house which we go to on weekends).

Yugioh.. This has to be the sorriest excuse of an anime I've EVER seen.
I just don't see how anyone can be entertained by that piece of trash. It's like the same thing happens in every episode.
Bad guy comes, good guys have to challenge him. Bad guy has the upper hand and does some super secret move which he has to explain out every single detail about. Good guy panics... *commercial*.. come back.. good guy remembers he ALSO has a super secret special attack which he ALSO has to explain out in detail.
And lame lame lame.. blah blah blah.

Jerry Springer... I never knew there were that many transgender people who were sleeping with their sister's/brother's/mother's/father's/etc significant other in my life.
And what is up with the Jerry Beads thing?How completely SKANKY do you have to be to flash your freaking chest to the audience and everyone at home for beads that probably costed them 10cents.. if that.

Maury Povich... God man.. what happened to your show???? It used to be decent.. but now it's like a Jerry JR. SHUT THAT STUPID AUDIENCE UP!!!!
And the WAY overreactions that the actual guests seem to always have is pathetic.

Montel Williams... Man...his voice always has the sound of "I'm so much smarter/better than you" that I just want to punch his lights out. Also that crap Silvia Brown thing makes me want to throw a brick through my tv whenever he has that woman on.
I believe in paranormal stuff.. but that woman is full of crap.

And that's all I can think of for now. I now most of those are talk shows.. but that's only b/c those come on during the early day when nothing else is on tv (I don't have cable).

I was gonna mention the Boost Mobile commercials, I hate when old people act stupid, but those commercilas are very annoying, it would seem to detur people from using boost mobile. Oh those the Navy Blue commercials in which thers a dancing chimp and the Nanny sais some Snoop Dogg line or something, truly horrible.

I've had too much of em also, though mine are probably different. They consist of one of New Zealands foremost rappers degrading himself to sing a telecom jingle.

Two Words: Kidz Bop. Those kids should be shot for obnox..iety?...ishness? THAT WAS MORE THAN TWO WORDS, WASN'T IT? *brick*

Im not exactly sure about this, but I took this class last semester called Intro. to Anthropology, Psychology and Sociology. And we did this unit on TV and cultural influences and stuff. Anyways, aparently Canadian stations have to air a certain number of hours of Canadian produced television... and thats why they do so many promotions for Train 48 and keep it on the air.

I love Train 48. I eprsonally think it's one of if not the best show aired on Global. The whole script is done off rough drafts and just statements so everything you see(apart from which characters are speaking and the subject) is pure ad lib.

Not only that but they've had some pretty prominent(granted only from Global) guest characters on the show, as well as several Canadian media and political figures.

I dunno about it being worst, it's possibly the funniest thing I see on TV.

Well, I just saw one very frightening commercial for AOL where some preteen girl is dancing very hyperly to an Evanescence song.
