pikachu, you should write a letter, and send a copy of your birth certificate (with sensitive information blacked out), and ask that they reinstate that account, on basis of their stupidity.

As for crombie, it's probably because of the formerly well-respected outfitters company named "Abercrombie and Fitch." They don't want anyone thinking that an account is affiliated with a company, if they can help it.

And a morningstar isn't on a stick - it's on a chain, which is on a stick. A mace is just a spiked club. The morningstar is more able to build up momentum to strike a killing blow, but is less useful in close combat (try swinging it in a tight circle, without ripping out your own guts) than a mace, which are available in one-handed or two-handed models.

urbandictionary.com :D thks for the recommendation..i din know abt such a site. a good chance for me to pick up some words which i don't get to hear in Singapore :P...like "crombie" and i don't even know what's so insulting abt "stoner"...till i look up that website.

yeah neopets gets very sensitive nowadays...whenever i post anything anywhere in neopets, i have to ensure i use english that can only be heard on BBC.

I think it's sad, and I'm sorry, but it's not a big deal. There is no reason why you should HAVE to use your name to be yourself, I don't use my real last name on NEopets because it's embaressing (yes, worse than stoner ;))

I guess I should concider myself lucky. Still I'm not happy. I hope someday people will get over the use of such word to mean bad stuff. I mean, is it really need to have certain word mean so much? Well, hope to talk to you soon! See ya!

As for if it's a big deal or not depends on who the name belongs to. Imagine if suddenly your name was turned into some slang derogatory meaning? It would upset me, that's for sure! You can't help being a bit offended, not saying you can't be a bit understanding too...

It's quite funny, I didn't relise what that even ment until I saw this movie on television... I think TNT didn't think of this, but really, you shouldn't use your full name on the internet anyway.

I completely agree with you, I don't think there should be a place for last name even on neopets, it encourages people to put their real name. I have always believed that unless you know someone personally (IRL) you shouldn't tell them anything that personal about yourself (there are exceptions for those that become great friends online) but I would never put my real last name on any site where everyone could see it.

The thing is, I signed up with my real name! They changed the filter later!

I think when I signed up you had to put something there so I just put my username since I didn't want my real name (not even my first name listed). I can't remember though it's been a long time, back when you didn't have to put an e-mail address.
