Those methods make it sound easy to take pills, thanks everyone! I'm going to try some of them next time I need to swallow a pill-- which'll be in ten minutes. -.-;;
Oh, and my pills are the kind that aren't coated and pretty small, which is pathetic on my part. XD

I have to take a ton of pills a day and what I've found to work is putting them in (either on my tongue or beneath if they taste bad) and then chugging whatever I have to drink (ie drinking it all without taking a breath). I hope you find a method that works for you. Also, check with your doctor before you chew anything you're supposed to be swallowing whole. Some medicines are made very specifically and chewing them can basically make them worthless and leave you with a really bad taste in your mouth.

Except if you are taking a caplet, it tastes exactly like plastic (berlieve me, I should know). I hope all our methods work for you Kristina.

I used to hate pills when I was younger... I vowed I would never use them.
But now, I don't really mind them...
I'v taken about 8 pills since yesterday, (because of the pain of an ear infection) and they go down pretty smoothly.
You just have to not think much about the size of it...

Try breaking them in half before swallowing, that helps my little sister. Just put the pill as far back on your tongue as pssible and drink plenty of water

I just swallow the pills without water. o.O

If the pill is too big try cutting it in half? Make sure no one is looking and you are relaxed. Don't think about the pill, pretend you are just drinking water. Those thing help me! Good luck

The taste of plastic is better than the taste of a chalky bitter pill, lol.

I used to always have trouble, too. But I found that it's easiest to stick the pill in around the back of my mouth, take a mouthfull of water, then lean my head back (like to look up at the ceiling), then move my head back down to normal positions (like to look right in front of you) and then swallow.

I hate chewable, dissolving, and liquid medicines, I prefer the pill over everything else. Swallow enough water with the pill and you can't feel it or taste it.

I just put the pill on my tongue, open my mouth wide so I don't taste it, and take huge gulps of water. Since the water carries it I don't even notice. =p

I put a bit of water in my mouth, put the pill in, then chug.
Unless I'm taking several at once, then I just throw them in and drink. I can take pills without water, but they usually get stuck in my throat.

I hate that feeling - when it's half gone down, but gets stuck >.<
I normally take my daily medication without water, just 'cause I'm lazy though

I can't take pills without vomiting or spitting all over the place unless I tilt my head so im looking at where the wall meats the cieling (can't explain it better

), hold the pill in one hand, a glass of water in the other, drop the pill into my mouth, then take a lot of water.
Or put it in something like jam or applesauce and just don't chew more than nesecary.
