Same thing happened here when I checked last night. It's as if I went back to the day before yesterday on my account. Grrr! I lost two days of profits! But, weird, only happened on one of my accounts and not on the others. The account it happened on was on the aiqy shop wiz line.

It's all gone weird. There are rocks hurtling towards you after 300 points, and the red rectangular rocks are shaking and dropping slowly or disappearing when they reach the bottom

Well, the red rocks just disappear or some get stuck in place..but i did get to go to 1900... :lol: I wish that it could be this easy all the time

Vertigo, you are so right. That is exactly why we are having down time, item-stealing glitches and resets of shops. Neopets couldn't handle the amount of players it had before the McD's promotion--and now we have even more players because of it.

Instead of anticipating the addition of a certain number of new players due to the promotion and getting enough servers and staff to handle it, the bigwigs of Neopets sat around counting the money they got from McD's.

But, don't they realize that the people first to go when the program glitches up like this are those new players without any time or energy invested into the game? If I was new and saw that the system was like this, I'd quit in a heartbeat and find something more reliable to play.

End result: Most of those new players that they were trying to attract with the promotion will leave in frustration. And those of us who are truly addicted will continue to play in frustration--all the while looking over our shoulders for yet another glitch or red pteri to attack!

Haha, so we're all just going to keep pressing refresh in desperate hope of Neopets coming back online until we fall off our chairs sideways and have to get taken to hospital, the cemetary or the insane asylum.

Yeah its an older version since the newer one doesn't have the clouds of smoke.

Morningstar, our minds think alike! I had the same thought -- while trying to get even more people signed up and "addicted" to the site like many of us, they neglected to consider what even more people trying to get on the site would do to the *cough* new, improved servers.

I know if I had just joined and kept getting that red pteri, refresh, 502, 590 and 569 error pages, I'd just go find something else to do.

I just went to the site, looked on the front page and the stocks are at 0. That usually means that it's down. Time? 10:35 a.m. EST. I'm going to guess that there may be staff in even though it's Sunday since the site's been down for so long. I know last night it was running weird, like it would run fine then all of a sudden start taking 5 minutes for a page to load. Also, kept losing my connection and had to keep signing back onto the internet. Only on Neo, same as many people are having a problem with IE and Neo.

But weekends are the worst as far as the site going down, glitches, etc. And this is just the start of the summer! What's going to happen when everyone's out of school and there's so many more people on the site every day.
