((Well, if a lot of us got up about 9-10 and we are practically all in the Cafeteria, I would think it would be around 11))

[It's about 9-10 o'clock in the morning at the moment.

Jade is right about the current time of the role-play.]
Elily was finishing her breakfast, when suddenly the ground shook. It was a slight rumble at first, but then grew into a full-fledged earthquake. Alarmed, she tried to get up, but then found it increasingly harder to do so, as the other students started going into a frenzied panic, and everyone madly knocked over everyone else, disoriented, but all had one objective: To get to the exit. The dining hall was going to collapse on them if this continued.
She tried to move from her table but was shoved down by a rather heavy Plonian. It was a challenge to try and stand up, but it was even harder to try to avoid getting rampaged over. The earthquake amplified its power, and cracks started appearing on the floor. Elily knew it would be rather useless to try to stand up now, it would be best to get up when most of the crowd had thinned out. She just hoped they would disperse soon, before the ceiling gave way on her. Now to defend her position. Elily started to crawl under the table, hoping to seek shelter from the chaos, but then her arm was firmly grabbed, yanking her to her feet. She turned, and who she saw made her grin in relief.
'Come on, let's get out of here,' her friend said, pulling her arm.
[Will post a bio about this new character soon.]

((Is the shaking just in the cafeteria, or in other places, too?))

((Well, it's got the train, so presumably everywhere. And if it's an earthquake, it would most likely be everywhere anyway. But I think the cafeteria may be the Epicenter, but you would have to ask Glass or Lillie.))

The earthquake’s magnitude had begun to increase, its merciless ravage forcing bracing bodies to the raging floor. Fissures, like an entwining network of frightened veins, pierced their way throughout the cafeteria floors. Kenji had not moved sense his findings of the downed boy, still cradled Raiu’s inert structure within his arms. “Can you walk?” Kenji immediately questioned while urgently looking about the fleeing students. He feared their panic would not allow them to notice him nor the injured boy.
He could not help but wonder what in the world was causing such a disturbance. However, his attention was abruptly stolen away by the disrupting sounds overhead. Kenji hastily glanced upward, eyes suddenly wide with dread as he caught sight of the crumbling ceiling above. Without hesitance, he summoned a glacial blue radiance to be, soon giving rise to a wearily lashing, encircling mist. As the ceiling gave way, the gelid haze solidified into an unfaltering ice, its shape that of a branch-built, dome-like shield. Kenji flinched at the resulting sounds of the collision, relieved at sight of the seemingly unharmed shield.

Chessa's stomach grumbled angrily at her as she made her way towards the building that her room was in. She frowned and folded her arms over it in hopes of calming it, but it only complained more loudly. She sighed. Why on earth was she so hungry? Normally she could last until lunch without having a meal, which was usually what happened, considering that she found breakfast to be an unnecessary and time consuimg chore that would easily devour her valuable morning time if she allowed it to. It took her a moment to remember that she had missed dinner the night before, being so tired that the moment lessons ended that evening she had gone up to her room and fallen asleep, rather than following everyone else down to the dining hall.
Rolling her eyes, she sighed again. "Fine." she whispered to herself. She wheeled around and started back the other way towards the dining hall. It was only a short way away, being in the same area as her dormitory.
Chessa reached the door and was about to pull it open when a frighteningly violent shaking tugged the earth out from under her feet. Stumbling, she grasped the handle of the door to support herself, her eyes widening as she heard the clatter of dishes and the screams of other students inside. A sudden CRACK! startled her. Looking around, she saw the trunk of a nearby tree beginning to splinter near the base. Slivers of wood popped out and fell to the ground, and the tree swayed uneasily.
Oh, dear... Chessa thought. It's going to fall! She gasped. It was a rather large tree, quite wide and at least twenty feet tall. If it fell toward her, it would crush the building, and her with it!
"Help!" She said in a frightened whisper, shutting her eyes tightly. Please, please stop shaking... She prayed silently.

Iris watched the tree as it violent shaking intensified and then calmed, the girl in it's shadow quivering with obvious fear. She walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Are you alright? I think that was the Monorail. I didn't realise it was so violent."
She looked up to the sky for some non-obvious reason.
"Are you heading to the food hall?"

((I'll assume it's everywhere, then.))
Zin-Kylan had just finished admiring and hanging up her drawing when she felt a rumble beneath her feet. She thought, at first, it was just some mischevious child throwning things in the basement ((assuming there is one)) and that the objects were unfortunately hitting the part of the ceiling that made up her floor. But it didn't stop. Violent rumbles broke out and some of Zin-Kylan's posessions began tumbling down from their shelves. She grabbed her scepter, rushed over to her bed, tore out the bins in which she stored things that she kept under her sleeping area, and pulled herself under. She had no fear of the bed falling onto her- it was the sturdiest thing in the entire room. Her first instinct was to scream- and she did. She screamed like she had never screamed before, hoping someone would come and rescue her from the mysterious rumblings.

Raiu nodded and then stoud up. As he stoud up he heard the sound of rock smashing against ice. Raiu quickly looked up to see the roof collapsing but a dome of ice was holding it. "We must go now that ice will not hold the roof forever!" Raiu yelled at Kenji.

Nerevar, suddenly noticing the roof starting to collapse further, even with Kenjii's ice it wouldnt last for another 20 seconds. He quickly reached into his mind and pulled out the strongest wind magic he knew and blasted it against the roof hoping it would buy some time for the kids that were still having trouble getting up. Nerevar wasn't worried about falling down though, he had made a small cushion of air to keep his feet firmly on the ground. Nerevar saw a few kids still to scared to get out, it appeared they felt saker under the tables. "Get out! Now! We wont be able to hold this much longer!"

((Is it just me or is the magic starting to get a bit uber-powerful?))
Eliwood opened his eyes. He had hit his head quite hard when he fell and had been knocked out, but only for a second. Ow, my head. What happened? Where am I? Who are those people around me? He had a lot of thoughts running through his mind at that point. He looked to his right and theye was a steel shelf sitting right next to his shoulder. Startled and slightly dizzy, he tried to stand up, but he noticed the carriage was at a slight angle. He managed to pull himself up and he saw the train had went off the rails slightly at one side. He saw a lot of the others were now getting up, but they were panicky and were almost like headless chickens. Many were crowded around doors, pressing the "open doors" button. Most of them had dealed with lots of technology for most of their lives, but Eliwood knew that technology wasen't always the answer. He went over to the nearest door, shoving numerous people out the way and examined it. He tried to pull them open, but they wouldn't budge. Getting a bit frantic he looked around the doors frame and he saw a glass box to his right. He smashed it and found a crank inside. I suppose things can't get worse than they already are he thought so he started turning the crank. To many peoples amazement, the doors started to open. Everyone else in the carriage started to run towards the door he was at and most people surged forward, scrambling to get out but they were preventing Eliwood from turning the crank. "WILL YOU ALL CALM DOWN AND LET ME AT LEAST GET THE DOORS OPEN BEFORE TRYING TO GET OUT!" he shouted at the top of his voice. Some of the lights started to give off a lot of sparks and one even flickjered back into life. Everyone stopped and looked at Eliwwod. They backed away from him, giving him some room to work. "Thank you." The Sparks dispersed, and the light once again flickered out of existance. He kept turning the crank until the doors were fully opened. But the people didn't go to escape the train. "What are you waiting for? Hurry up!" Eliwood jumped off the train and soon everyone was doing the same. They all went to the side of the tracks and he sat down on the grass, exhausted and still slightly spinning from the knock on his head. A lot of people were looking at him like he was a malevolent spirit but he couldn't figure out why. He looked away from them to his right and saw the cafeteria in the distance, with it's rook looking cracked. He quickly got up and started running towards the Cafeteria. I have to help them.

Raiu’s concerned words forced Kenji’s attention back upon the shield once more. “You’re right.” Kenji stated while taking note of the various cracks that had formed in the short time sense the shield’s summoning. Shards of the once firm covering had begun to plummet toward the waiting, quaking floor. His eyes searched hurriedly about, seeking a safe way out of the cafeteria as a furling wind swept him over. Seemingly, the tapering ceiling’s crumble yielded, allowing the chance both Kenji and Raiu direly awaited. With an arm for Raiu’s support, Kenji started to make his way toward the exit. While he did, a stationary student fell into view, perhaps the one responsible for the aiding winds. He nodded gratefully.

Raiu Ran at the door but as he was running he heard a piece of roof falling at him so he dived off to the side just bearly escaping. That was a little too close. He ran toward the door but then a huge boulder fell and blocked the door. "Hey guys if you don't want to die help with this boulder here!" Raiu called out to the people still left in the cafe.

(the magic would be uber-powerful if we could pick up a part of the school without hardly trying

) Nerevar saw Kenjii nod to him as he ran past to the doors with Raiu. He nodded back and turned his attention back to the ceiling. He was growing weaker by the second and knew he would collapse if he tried to keep this up much longer. He looked around, everyone seemed to be at the doors milling out, he saw a boulder fall in the way of it earlier and it appeared that in their fear they had managed to move it very quickly. He released the magic and ran full boar to the doors before the roof collapsed completely. When he was out he fell over onto the ground from exaustion. He saw everyone was safe before he faded into unconciousness.

Chessa jumped at the sound of the girl's voice. She whirled around, one hand still clinging to the door handle. Breathing hard, she gazed at the girl intensely for a moment, then shut her eyes tightly once more. Thank goddess... She thought, opening her eyes once more.
"I'm... I'm all right." she said softly, although her quivering hands and probably stark white face said otherwise. She gulped and looked back out at the tree, which had stopped trembling... Mostly. She watched as a few loose leaves fell serenely to the ground, and her grip on the door's handle loosened a little.
Taking a deep breath, Chessa looked back at the girl once more and nodded to answer her second question. She wished she could smile, but at that moment she felt so insecure that she would probably break down and cry if she tried.
After all, this was the second time in ten minutes that someone had asked her if she was all right. Did she really look that weak, that vulnerable? Looking at herself in the mirror every day, she saw herself as an okay person. One who, if she had to, could stand alone and defend herself when no one else was there. But could she? The moment before when the tree had nearly toppled over... She should have gotten out of the way in case the tree had fallen, perhaps tried to reinforce it so that the building would be okay as well... But she hadn't. Instead, she had stood there and trembled. Trembled, for goodness' sake! Had she no courage in her?
(Edit: Okay, so wait, the roof is going to cave in on the Dining Hall, am I right? That makes sense, but realistically, you're inside. How on earth is a boulder going to fall in the path of the doorway?)
