I got a bit of Frances. My power went out 5 seconds, my cable was out 2-3 hours. I didn't see much of Last Comic Standing, that's for sure.

Isn't it Hurricane Francis spelt with an 'I' not 'E'? However, I hope johnnydontgo is safe, she's in Florida for a vacation.

Does it matter? A hurricane is a hurricane however it's spelt. o_O

I've never encountered any extreme weather, so I don't know anything.

I don't get any extremes of weather where I live either. So I don't really know what it's like. All I get is a bit of rain.

Come on.......it's nothing like that most of the time. You'll find that in many other places on Earth.

Whoa, Ivan completely leveled Grenada.......

I lived in Florida, and a tornado flew right over us once. We were very lucky the tornado hadn't touched the ground yet. I now live in Israel and there are no tornadoes here. My friends live in Florida and I'm pretty worried about them. I checked if they were on aim, and one was on away and it said she went to a movie with here friends, so I'm guessing she's fine...

Frances is spelled with an 'e'. We've been giving this girl, Frances, in my class a hard time about how much of a disappointment "she" was. About how "slow", "weak", and "wide" (she's not really fat, but it's fun to provoke her) "she" was. I've learned not to do this during Physics though, as that class has an abundance of metersticks, and my jokes always seem to be followed by physical pain.

Who says I'm worried about the band room?!? Yes your fellow cheerleaders may be blown away because some of them are so tiny and they might forget it's a hurricane. AND DON'T SAY LIL OL AP WILL BE DEMOLISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know where you live...it won't take me long to get there!!!!
