Aww, congratulations you guys! I hope it goes well. :)

Shapu - Wow. I thought you were a girl until I saw Sapphire's post.

And I stand by what she said. In those words.

Proposed? Just once. 'Twas accepted, but the relationship fell apart not long after. I've got cousins out the wazoo, though, and a lot of the kids in my high school were engaged not long after graduation (including me).

And Saph, I'm sorry...but I think my girlfriend would probably dislocate my head. Otherwise, I'm flattered...esp. since I'm from WV originally, and have a thing for southern girls...

Well.... if this relationship falls through as well.... you know where to find me XD

Thanks guys and thank you so much for moving this to Misc. Disc. I now feel like my wedding has nutritional value! :D

Anyway, on the topic of proposing, my fiance proposed to me in Ocean City in the pouring down rain. He took out the ring and asked me to marry him and I said I would. Simple as that.

Planning is already underway. What we have so far:

-Ceremony Site
-Reception Hall
-Tiara & Jewelry (off of Ebay no less)
and this is the gown I'm going to order soon:

I like the Bon Jovi video for All about lovin you where the guy is standing at the edge of a high building and they all think he is going to comit suicide. His girlfriend is at the bottom crying and he jumps but before he hits the ground he opens a parachute with marry me written accross the underside. How romantic <3

It's hard to compete with that. That's awfully romantic.

I REALLY love the dress. And the handbag. ;) I wish I could get married, just to wear a gorgeous dress like that. And keep it. Mwahaha.

Hi everybody, I found this thread at last. I thought it disappeared. :(

I have only manage to find my restaurant. Have been looking around, found a wedding gown that I like and found a evening gown that I love. I have not decide on anything yet.

What kind of wedding are you having? (big, small, themed, etc.)

We're having about 150-175 people for a traditional wedding. My bridesmaid's dresses are gonna be blue (kind of a mix between ice blue and cobalt blue) though I haven't picked them out yet. I still have about 10 months before my wedding though. Didn't you say yours is in January? That's coming up soon! :)

I will be inviting about 300 people to my wedding dinner. Do you have to make all your bridesmaid's dresses? Or do you just let them know and they will make the dresses themselve?

I dun really have a theme on my wedding. I will take whatever that is pleasing to my eyes. Yah, my wedding will be on January and I am kind of panic here. I just came back visiting one of the bridal shop and fell in love with one of the gowns there. I begin to punch my calculator the moment I came back and my calculator almost caught fire. I think I got to make some adjustment.

Got to sleep now, it is almost 12am for me here.
