XDDD
Excellent typo.
Mandy Moore, Jessica Simpson and Christina all came round at once I think, and Christina was the only one who stuck around. Someone had a song that went 'I'm missing you like candy...' *pauses to throw up* so yeah, that sucked much.

Oh really Andrew, I didn't think you were that way inclined.

He released a couple of songs, then tried a comeback a couple of years later, but I know what you mean, he's a one hit wonder kinda thing.

What about Hanson!? *shudder* Mm-Bop my behind.
Still, some American 'stars' didn't do great in the UK...wasn't Mandy Moore a one-hit wonder over here? I remember her releasing something but giraffe knows what it was.
From what I remember, Mandy Moore was a one hit wonder in the US too, she attempted to come back with a different style, more 'adult,' but it didn't work.
At least, thats what I think, my memory isn't the greatest, and Mandy Moore was never on my favorites list.

Mandy Moore's last album was "Coverage", which by the title...means that all the songs on the album were covers of old ones, thus being less publicised. She's still working at it, though.
Jessica Simpson's album "In This Skin" features a few new songs, but two of the singles from it were also covers ("Take My Breath Away" and "Angels"). Unlike Mandy though, her songs were near the top at the charts recently, but now that a long time's passed, they're not anymore, haha.
Hanson would've been called a one-hit wonder if it weren't for their very new material. Their new album released not long ago this year's called "Underneath"; they've gone indie and are still receiving surprising success, even hitting the charts. Two singles out (that I really hate, haha) from it, "Penny & Me" and "Lost Without Each Other".

That song reminds me of a really good phase in my life so it's allowed.

I saw her at the MVA's, most likely she'll be releasing another album. Also the song, 'Objection' was a hit-- or at least I liked it.

Kids Bop is merely those CDs that you often see on infomericals that have kids singing various pop songs...badly. Very badly. The equivilant of a squeaking balloon badly. If you hear a pop song that you like sung by those kids you'll hate them instantly.
