You NEVER should have picked up a single thing. Now when your parents get home, they won't have any idea what she did, and are less likely to believe you. The vast majority of parents have their heads totally up their rears when it comes to realizing how malicious their own children are.

Did you save your cards as evidence? Show them to your parents and ask them that she replace them. Tell them that game cards aren't cheap (some are rare) and that it took you a long time to save them. Pointing out any damage left will help, too. If they left scuffs on the tables, broke anything, etc.

If you want your parents to discipline your sister, you have to let them see what she does. She is responsible for how her friends behave when at your house. I feel very sorry for you, because I know exactly what it's like to have an inconsiderate, destructive brat for an older sibling. I speak from experience. It'll be an uphill and unsuccessful battle if you clean up after her and THEN alert your parents.

Yes, I agree completely. Though I loved my sister dearly, I took the fall for her many, many times. Because she was so young and "innocent," she couldn't have possibly done it--therefore, I must have done it instead.

And, having a daughter who plays with those cards all of the time, I can vouch for the fact that they aren't cheap--at all!

And, don't let your sister get away with the excuse that her friends did it. She is responsible for her friends' behavior while in your house. Your parents would have a fit if your sister's friends broke their knickknacks and fine china, so your parents should feel the same if they rip up your stuff instead. Those cards are just as valuable to you as the fine china is to your mom. Tell your parents about it!

Even though you needed the evidance of the untidy room, your parent will be glad that you tidied it up, and held your cool with what your sister did. I'm pretty sure your parents will believe you. Is your sister still home? If she is and your parents come home, then confront your parents with your sister, and talk things out.

Your sister is bieng rebelios, and it's regular at her age, but you're not the one that has to deal with it. Just when it happenes again, lock yourself in your room, and if your parents get mad at you that you didn't do anything, tell them that it's not your responsibility, and that it's hard for you anyway to hold yourself from injuring her badly :P ...

How old is your sister? If she's still really young she simply doesn't know better, but if she's old enough to know better than you have the right to be really angry.

You could talk to your sister about it (if she'll listen to you). If that doesn't work, talk to your parents about it.

She's SIXTEEN, 6 years older than me! And I'm in no mood to talk...

ANYWHERE in the house you could still hear them...

go for it, my brother (whos six years older than i) isnt above giving me a good smack should i annoy him.
i would give advice as to where to hit her but i shant, common decency and all.

Hehe, yeah. If I wouldn't get in trouble or my sister hating me, I'd give her such a hiding.

Fidds is right. You might not like seeing mess, but think about it - If you clean it up, she'll just it again, making more mess. Let your parents see, and she wont do it again, if they do their job properly.
