A happy mid-autumn festival to all those of you who celebrate it. ^_^

Mid-Autumn Festival is the time when the moon is at its biggest, brightest and roundest of all the year, and families get together to eat moon-cakes and (round) fruit while staying up late to appreciate the aesthetic value of the moon. (I hope that's about right.)

I don't know whether it really is brighter and rounder, but I do hope that the moon for you is as lovely as the moon was for me yesterday. (I haven't looked out to see if there is a nice moon today yet; hopefully it'll be around.) It was simply humongous looking and so very gorgeous. :)

PS. Moon-cakes are good.

You celebrate it? Where are you from? While I don't really celebrate it, I come from a culture which does. :)

That's what we call it here, most of the farmers are using the moon light to help get the crops off the field. This year especially it's been a late harvest.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to you, too! :) I celebrate it as Mabon on the Autumnal Equinox.

I also celebrate on the full moon and last night was an especially lovely one. It was really gorgeous. :) Nights like that make you happy to be alive. :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful Harvest Season! :)

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

Oh, I love moon cake! ^_^ My mom's going to stop at the local Asian store and pick up a box (we ate a box of them a week ago, heh). I can't wait for dinner tonight. Should be good. :D

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! Too bad I won't be having any moon-cake this year.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

Ah yes! Alas, I am away from home, and am unable to partake in moon-cake eating. :(

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! :)

I don't celebrate it because I don't know what it is, but I do celebrate Autumn harvesting instead of Halloween..so..maybe its kind of the same?

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival. :D

The mooncake here in Vancouver really, really sucks (and so do their commercials). *craves for the Hong Kong Maxim ones* Moon's been awesome these past few days, hopefully it'll keep up today. Clear skies in Vancouver. :)

I saw the moon yesterday night. I think it was a full one (or almost) and it looked reeaally big. @_@

Happy mid-autumn festival to everyone! Now give me a mooncake! :P

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to all!

I would comment on the moon, but right now, there's no visible moon to comment on. The entire sky is filled with huge rainclouds drenching us with the remnants of Jeanne, so I can't see much.

I love mooncakes. The local Asian store where I live ships them from New York City, so they're quite good. My favourite are the red bean paste (dou4 sha1) and lotus paste (lian2 rong2) ones. [Parentathes are there because I'm not sure if the English is correct.]

There was a festival in Auckland like 2 nights ago. My sister went and brought back a Chinese lantern.

I LOVE moon cake!

I like pickles, I like cheese, I like climbing lobster trees!
