Caryy on, and good luck to all those people in Florida. I'd hate to be you right now.

My grandma has a house in Florida, but comes to Ohio so she doesn't burn in Florida, and goes there in the winter because she hates coldness. After Charley, only a broken window and a fence gone. Someone tried to break in, and now there's crow-bar marks on the doors. She also lost a gecko tree. (A palm tree where a lot of geckos lived) We haven't heard much about the others, though...

Is there another hurricane coming? I haven't checked the weather in a while... ;)

I'm really hoping that Jeanne will be the last one for a while, because the poor people of Florida really need a break. :(

Same here.

I actually read an article in the paper that said this is the average amount of hurricanes that should hit the US. The last 30 years just have been, luckily, under par.

BTW: Go Red Sox!

October was predicted to be the most active month.

When I watched the weather channel earlier this week, apparently there were two brewing a little south of it? One was a larger hurricane and one was a tropical storm, but I couldn't remember either of the names.

Well, the US isn't the only country suffering. Japan's gotten its 7th typhoon (equivalent of hurricane, I guess) of the year.

Yes we do need a break. My lil town got a direct hit and we were on the worst side of it. I was shivering soooo bad. I got up at 4 AM although I was awake at 3. We just got power back last night. so if any power workers are reading this...

THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH FOR DOING YOUR JOB!!!
