Normally if you play with it, it works. You can try that merry-go-round on Roo Island.

but nothing works if your pet is sad from being zapped by the lab ray.

I always make sure all my pets are "delighted!".. I just get a cheap toy and play with them about 30-40 times.. it normally does the job? o_O

Yeah, it should be pointed out that playing with them or grooming them just once usually won't do the job, you'll need to do it a few times to get any sort of results. Also, make sure they're fed, I don't know if it impacts but its always nice to have a well-fed pet (you can get free Jelly and Omelettes!).

yeah.. paying attention to it helps their mood.. but I've basically neglected one pet, zapped it, and had bad events happen to it... and it's still cheerful... ? Ah well, something to be said for a good outlook on life.

How odd.. I haven't played with my pets for literally months, and they're all either happy or joyful.

Maybe it's because I play a lot of games? Or NQ? o.O

For starters you can play with it. :D (DUH!)
Or...

- Take it on the Tiki Tours or Merry Go Round
- Groom It
