Neo is making me real mad!!!!!!

You know I hate whinning but I just don't get it anymore!
Even though it shows like Neopets is growing as a site and business, it seems they are going backwards... it's been almost 5 years and they still don't get the news out on time...
They freeze people for no reasons...
all they do now is make books and furniture and new colors on pet days... woopppoeeee! It's getting annoying! and the prizes they give out for winning something is so stupid ... like 500np for winning lenny, or 250np to sign up for endless amounts of spam... give us a break, they where giving out the same NP when the Hidden Tower Items where all under 1 million...

to make a long rant short, neopets has turned out to be a flash game site, that breaks up the bordom by allowing you to be a restocker and maybe fighting a war once a year...

Can someone please tell me why Im still addicted to this anoying badly run mega site?

Why are you still addicted? I dunno, but it means that at least Neopets is doing something right.

I hate to say it guys, but after a year or so of rants, I don't hate the Team anymore. Their ideas may sometimes be misguided or plain old bad, yes, but they do try to keep us happy. And believe me, that's no easy feat. I still hate Dohring, though, and always will.

Anyways, I'd just like to add that about the news being late.. it could be done on purpose for people in other time zones.

Well, Neopets is still the best virtual pet site out there, despite its faults.

It's grown a lot, and has so much to offer that most people can't help but brush away the advertising and spam and just enjoy Neopets for what it is.

The only gripe I have is them releasing new pet colours in the news, but not at the Rainbow Pool. It's sort of annoying.

Well, it'd be more annoying if I could actually afford to paint my pets. Or had a Fountain Faerie quest...

I couldn't have said it better myself. Although, I've never really hated TNT, I know they're just doing their jobs.

There are going to be problems with any compay that grows this fast in a short amount of time.

In the begining neo was made for older people, now it has turned into a kiddy site.. and they have the same anooying rules, you can't do this or that or anthing we don't want you to do... I hope someone would start a real Virtual Pet site out there!

Yes, Neopets does have it's flaws...but overall, I think it's very enjoyable. Flaws make life interesting, no?

First of all, Neopets isn't kiddy. Are things dying in wars kiddy? No. Is Pikachu being eaten on the cover of the Gallery of Evil (:cry:) kiddy? No. Is the Haunted Woods kiddy? Is.. is.. other stuff kiddy?!

Second of all, Neopets is a real virtual pet site.

But, seriously, you go make a website like it and see how good you do.
