Like others, this genre really isn't my first choice in a music genre. However, I do hear music like this on the radio station I listen to and I can honestly say I like it better most of the songs of this genre that are played on the station. Wish I could give you some advice or comments specific to the genre, but like stated above, I don't listen to the genre much.

Regardless, thumbs up to the song. I really like it. :)

(If you have the time, could you tell me how [what kind of equipment, etc.] you used to create this? I was curious because I'm currently looking at buying a music program where you can record tracks. The program does have default tracks, but it's no fun if you make a song with the same tracks everyone else used. :) )

Heeeey, this song is really catchy! I don't normally listen to music like this, not my thang, but I like this song! I'm not sure why, maybe it's the music, maybe it's the singing, maybe it's just the fact it was done by you, but whatever it is, it makes it good! Like "This Love" by Marron 5, at first I thought it was a tad strange and not my type; but then after listening to it a few times more, I'm hooked to it!

Well, I've listened to it alot since you told me in IM about it, SL. I even got my nephew to listen to it and he said he liked it. I thought was kinda odd because he usually only listens to Eminem, and is completely different from what Eminem would sing lol. But we both really like it and we were both wondering when you're gonna come out with more songs

Wow. Very good recording/voice SL.

I'm going to give you my honest opinion as I listen to this genre a lot.

Your voice is very nice to begin with, not too high and not too low. It's nice. As robot said, the lyrics could be a little more sophisticated and as Yoshi said, you should've added more strength to the part such as "Ohhh".

The first line in the chorus bothered me. It sounded good but it seemed to trail off at the part after "but I,". The music was nice, I liked the flow of it. One part however bothered me,

But I'm still struggling so hard to find
Girl I know that it seems I've lost my way
But I can't keep it up with the games you play

It was too high. A little too high for my liking there.

Other than that, I loved the song. I hope I don't sound like a jerk but you wanted an honest review and I gave you one. I honestly love this song and I cannot wait for a followup. Perhaps you can add in a piano in the next song or some police sirens like fading out.
