I just checked right now and my petpets are back! No changes, no quotations marks, no age lost, as if this was nothing but a dream. Really wierd.

I don't know about my neopets abilities, though as the page is down.

Yep, I'm so glad the quotation marks went. I'm still stuck with a 34-year-old broken-image petpet with a green apple petpetpet though.. I wonder what would happen if i tried to rename the petpet, or stopped playing with it?

Also, now my really mean and sarcastic question to the editorial about quotation marks is going to look pretty bad..

Thankfully I never got into the craze of the petpets so I don't have anything to lose there, but I want my abilities back. Drain life it's pretty important for me and for some reason I can't even get on Neopets to check.

I don't think you'll have to worry about abilities for a while Lynx seeing as the battledome is going to be down for some time. "Temporarily" of course

Bug report sent today: I know you're getting this bug report over and over. And perhaps that should clue you in. All petpets and faerie abilities are gone. If I weren't a member of a Neopets help forum, I'd be very worried. Unfortunately, this is what I've come to expect. At the very least, you need to inform your users of the specific database move (or whatever the problem is), so they know why their petpets and abilities are gone. Some vague message stating, "We've had problems, but everything's alright now" doesn't begin to alleviate anyone's fears. In essence, we pay your bills. Perhaps you should keep us a little more informed. Thanks for your time.

Well, no matter how long it takes, I've always gotten a response. And when it was an origianl problem (aka something that doesn't have a canned response), the email I've recieved was obviously written by a person that had read my email. I made sure not to put "Where are my petpets" in the problem title, that way I can't get an automatic canned response. They'll have to read it.
