This one song somebody over on the Lyrics forum posted. I have never even heard it, because it's by a band called 'Salsa Commodity' but the lyrics are SO me:
Final Fantasy for the Day
You know what, Charlie Brown?
I think I can relate to you
You're always feeling down
Everyone's always pickin on you
Pretending to be a cool punk rocker
Then getting shoved into your locker
Then facing the teacher's glower
As you explain why you missed third hour
But the times have changed
Yeah, high school's not what it used to be
It's rearranged
It's cooler to be a dork like me
My braces can shine brighter than your earing can
And my friends don't care that I drive a minivan
And I'll watch Sci-Fi after I play
My Final Fantasy for the Day
So what if my socks
have big red stripes on the ends?
So what if my Reeboks
Have stuff written on them by my friends?
I would rather play DDR
It's better than getting drunk by far
Linux is the choice for me
And all my friends seem to agree
Cause the times have changed
Yeah, nerds and dorks are so much cooler
It's rearranged
It's a tough choice between school or
Making Flash cartoons for my website
Or staying on Kazaa all through the night
Or saving Zelda before I play
My Final Fantasy for the Day.
Seriously. I was Charlie Brown in the school play last year, I play DDR for an hour a day, I love making animations/Flash stuff, and I love classic Zelda
