I keep my cat and bunny in my room on Halloween night so they don't get caught in the commotion, especially the cat since he's all black, don't want him hit by cars or terrorized by little kids. Surprisingly, neither pet seems to mind the fireworks.
I don't do anything on Halloween except eat leftover candy, so I'm pretty indifferent to it.

I mean, I don't celebrate Halloween, and I want no part of it, but I have to see a Halloween toolbar all day if I want to play Neopets.See?

I believe somebody else already posted this, but you do NOT have to put up with the toolbar, they made that clear in the editorial.

I'm English and I've never heard of people letting fireworks of at halloween.
In fact no one celebrates halloween much round here at all.
I dressed up at work on saturday night and we made a cocktail celled witches brew but only 4 other people came in the pub dressed up and I didn't have one trick or treater yesterday.
Fireworks randomly go off at this time of year. Like Christopher said they have gone on sale for bonfire night so there are people messing around with them.

I don't remember hearing any fireworks...but knowing me, I wouldn't notice. (What're the laws on fireworks, anyway...can you get decent ones, or just sparklers and crap like that?)

Where abouts do you live then, cos Im moving there!! Im in Notts and we have had fireworks every night for the last week there are garages near my house and teenagers keep letting bangers off in there, its terrifying cos the noise echoes round and sounds 10x louder. When Im trying to get my kids to bed it really bugs me. And seeing as the shops round here take no notice of the law and sell them to anyone with cash we will probably have them for another 2/3 weeks.
I think that fireworks should only be sold for public displays not for general sale to the public, they cause too many accidents and its far to easy for minors to get hold of them. I dont mind putting up with fireworks on bonfire night but apart from that they are a darn nuisence!!
