Problem with new shop system

I don't know if anyone else has seen this, but there is a major problem with the new shop system.

It appears that only items showing up on the first page of a shop will show up at the top of the screen after doing a shop wiz search. Items that are on the following pages do not show up, but instead it says "Item not found" even though the item is in the shop--just not on the first page.

I don't remember seeing it this way yesterday, so hopefully it is a temporary glitch.

This is really nasty for anyone who has more than 100 different items in their shop because anything for sale on page 2 and following won't show up and, even worse, will say it is sold out, when it isn't.

Ugh, that IS a major problem, and one that hopefully will be fixed. I guess give it time? It is the weekend. I'm sure you've sent a bug report, right?

Something like that could have a major impact on people with either a large shop (like a mall-type thing) or someone selling just one or two things out of a large gallery to support that gallery account.

I haven't gone on a shop wiz search lately, but I will and will look out for this myself. And thanks for the heads up!

And also this above problem.. say when you search for sausage omelette and go into a shop with one, it shows the searched item on top. There are in fact only 2 items in the shop, but the bottom it shows:

Total Items on Page: 3 | Total Quantity on Page: 3

If you want to see for yourself, go to the shop wiz, look up baby lenny plushie until you get to the "h" line, then click on hrobi's shop and go there. No item found. Yet it is sitting at the top of page 3.

It really affects me--I am one of those with a gallery with a few items tucked in here and there for sale. Grrr!

Just as long as the items don't actually disappear! Luck can be tragic sometimes.

I'm not sure what you mean.

Are you referring to when the database crashed and lot's of people lost items or are you referring to something about the shop glitch that was just fixed?

It's still doing it. Maybe it's like "featured item" or something.

EDIT - Well, it's not doing it in my shop, but I only have 5 things in there.

The Baby Lenny Plushie is at the top of the page even though it does not occur in the shop until the next page in the 200-300 range.

I thought that fixed it.

I find that it's very convenient for the item ur searching for in the wiz to show on top of all the other items when you go into the shop. You don't have to scroll down to look for what you want, especially in huge shops. :lol:

Oh, I'm so glad that got fixed!

I seemed to still be getting sent to giant shops from the wiz, just to find I had to load an extra four pages to buy the one thing I wanted (and ctrl-F'ing on each page

)
