Yea, I had just gotten ducks when I restarted. Did you get ducks or did you not know about them in year 1?

Ouch... Major suckness. Right when you start the game, run super fast (if you have the horse, use it) to the shed thing and order that medicine immediatly!!! And if it doesn't work, you'll just have to get two cows... Or chickens. :|

I tried again and got it to her in time. It says,"Jenny(my cow),lets wait and see if the medicine works..." :| Has it ever not worked..? And how do you get the animals out of the barn? And..and..thats all.

There's a bell right outside of the barn, on the field side. I suggest you do what I did, on some day just walk around the entire place, and find everything you can't find right now, then quit and start the day over. Btw, there's a bell on the inside of the barn on the path side that brings all of the animals back in.

You can get a Chihuahua? o_o How?! *wants one*

At the moment I have...

2 Chickens
1 Rooster
2 Ducks
1 Horse
1 Sheep
1 Goat
1 Star Cow (Female)
The original cow and a calf of hers
1 dog
1 cat
and 1 annoying little boy.

But what's with the ducks? I've had mine for a looooong time and they have never once laid an egg! I know ducks are supposed to lay eggs... but how do I get them to lay them? It's really rather frustrating.

Oh and uhm... this may seem cruel... but since you can't sell the goat after it stops giving milk can you kill it? o_o()

Chihuahua, you have to be friends with the fossil-digging guy and Flora, the digging site has to be as big as it can get (so late in the game), and you have to dig up a tablet every year. If you wanna see the chihuahua, sometimes it's around the digging site somewhere, but it's incredibly tiny. o_o

I was wondering what to game to get next and I think this'll be it, I always like Sim type games, don't get mad at me for caliing it sim like because that's all I can base it off

I've seen the Chihuahua..I thought it was a mouse. I want it anyway.I love Chihuahuas,and this is the closest I will get for a long time.

I can't wait to get the chihuahua. (I'm only 1 chapter away!) But I've been really slacking on harvest moon ever since the mega man anniversary collection came out, and it's been kind of boring since I've hybridized every possible crop and have practically infinite money. 0_o

And yes, I have seen the Chihuahua now that you mention it but I thought it was... I don't know what I thought it was. I saw the little bandana and thought it was a dog yet it was small I wasn't sure.

On another note, my friend has already given me advice on fast ways to kill the goat, but since I sort of want one just to have one of all the animals I was planning to keep it unless I got super low on money and needed another cow to boost.
