I think I might have heard about that from a friend. We always swap news seeing as we live so far away.
I won't say I know what you feel like, seeing as I don't believe anyone knows what you feel like. They may know what it feels like to loose a grandparent, but not what you feel like. Besides, I never knew any grandparents.
But you and your grandfather, and the rest of your effected family have my hope that you all pull through this and are able to carry on without any major harm.

I apologize for your loss, Toma. Though I don't know you, I know what you are going through. My grandfather had cancer, even though that isn't the same, though in the last few months of his life, we grew very close. When he died, I didn't know what to do. I sat around, speechless and flabberghasted. (Yes, funny word.) Eventually, I did cry, though my words of help and encouragement are to remember the good times you had with your grandmother. Realize that she isn't entirely gone. She'll still be with you, whether it's physically or spiritually. If you need to talk to anyone, my message box is always open, okay, Toma?

I write poetry avidly. I've been told I have a sense of how to write, though I'm forced to believe I'm not as good as I can be. ~Jessie, a.k.a. Jurekazi

Im so sorry to hear about your loss, car accidents are such pointless things that could so easily be avoided. I know it seems like it will never happen but things will start to look a little brighter soon, your grandad will need you and all his family and friends around him as much as possible. Even if you dont know what to say, just being there for him will help him in so many ways.

Get plenty of hugs and cry on everyones shoulders, your family are all there for you, use them! I know how it feels to lose somebody you care about, but at least you had the chance to know them. Remember them for all the good things and make the most out of your life the way that they would want you to. You will never forget your grandmother and there will always be a piece of her inside of you. Help your grandad and look after yourself. :)

My condolences!

I lost my granddad in January. I was close with him since I was the first granddaughter and my parents and I lived with my grandparents the first years of my life. My grandmother however is coping okay with it. It's of course really hard, but it does not neccessarily mean that the other person will give up or anything. And I had it too, because I live far away from my family and the first time I saw them was also the first time I cried. I kinda blocked it out until my mom hugged me. It's totally normal.

I wish you and your family strength. And here's a big hug: {{{{{SQUUEEEZZZEEEE}}}}}}

Those who still think listening isn't an art should see if they can do it half as well.

Thanks for the support guys...
My grandad is awake now. I don't really feel like getting a dictionary and look up what exactly is wrong with him, but my aunt says he will get better. I know I shouldn't say this, but I think it would have been better if they died together... They have been together every day for over 50 years. I don't think grandad will ever be the same again without grandmom...

Don't feel bad about thinking that. I know someone who's mother was about to die and she was suffering. The person's family wanted her to die to put her out of her suffering. This is similar.
I'm sorry for you!!!!! *hugs* If you need someone to talk to, PM me.

I won't write a novel here, especially since you don't know me, but please allow me to express my condolences. It's a difficult thing to have happen to you. You shouldn't feel like you have to react one way, like crying. Everyone expresses grief in different ways from screaming, to crying, to writing poetry. Just take the time to get used to what happened, and feel free to grieve whichever way makes sense to you.

Thanks so much guys... I can't send everyone a PM to tell how thankful I am, so this is for everyone who sent me a PM or posted here. Thanks *hug*

Today was a tough day... went to school, had to tell the story over and over again. But I'm glad that I went anyway, my friends pulled me through :)
