I'm pretty sure it's alright. My brother and I took care of a friend's rabbit and when we went to buy food, all of them said "For small animals" and they had both a guinea pig and rabbit on the cover.

Unless the food is specifically specified for guinea pigs I would give it to the rabbit. Be sure to check if it says "For other small animals" or if has a rabbit or any other small rodent on the cover besides itself.

Maybe you could also check the ingredients (if they have them listed on the packages). If the ingredients seem to be mostly the same, it is probably safe.

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

It only has a Guinea piggie on it.. most of the stuff in it is the same, but I am so scared to give it to them because one of our rabbits died of diarreah..

To be on the safe side I would take it back to the shop and exchange it for the right food, or phone the pet shop and ask them if it is safe to give to a guinea pig.

I would advise doing the same thing. Same ingredients with a few minor differences can seriously harm an animal. Take it back or call the pet store.

Thats what I told mom, but she won't listen and shes mad at me now..

EDIT: Me and dad will have to take it back. She said she won't give it to them, but I can tell she's mad at me.

Moderators may lock this. Thanks for the help everyone.
