someone put 5 pink poogles up on the trades the other day, and in the wish list said they wanted 133700... I was laughing so much I had to buy them, so I offered them 1337 NP and won 5 pink poogles....hehe....

Hmm...trades isn't a bad idea for people like me, who's usernames won't let them appear on the shop wizard. I'll go do that...

Wouldn't this be considered TP spamming? I wouldn't do it if I were you guys, just stick to the shops. (I've got 50 in mine )

I collect Pink Poogle Toys in my shop just because of PPT. It would be cool if members had the toys in their shops, but it might also be bad. If something happened where there was some trouble between PPT and Neopets or anywhere else (other fan sites, hackers, etc.), it would be easy to identify the PPT members, just put in a search for any Pink Poogle Toy on display. Members could be harrassed that way. It's sad, but it's true.

Hmmm, no actually. It wouldn't really be spamming. Not if you wrote something like "133700 or best offer". That way, it'd look like an honest-to-god trade, but PPTers will still know that you're a PPTer. Or like xjox suggested, just put 1 or 2 pink poogle toys in each of your trades.

Hmmm I can see your point it could cause trouble. But I cant really think of why there would be any trouble between ppt and anyone else. Besides alot of people here use the same username on neo as they do on here and most people will happily give someone else there username on here so they could be harrassed that way too. If anyone does cause trouble then believe me I will be the first to post on here advising people to take them out of their shops. I just love it because it shows a symbol of unity amongst us members and its really cool when you come across a shop with one in unexpectedly!:)

and even if someone had a pink poogle toy priced at 133700 nps, doesn't mean they just don't like the number also i'm sure alot of people see this idea and think its cute as well, i know that people do "lurk" on these forums so it would be highly unfair of tnt to freeze someone just for having a pink poogle toy in their possession. other people however, i wouldn't put it past.

its a very cute idea though *hugs her pink poogle toy* fits in with my obsession with pink galleries too...

I have one in my shop, and I think that's fine, but if everyone put them in the TP, no one selling a PPT for real would be able to sell them, because the page would be filled with 'fake' PPT's for sale. Also, the trades only last for 2 weeks, but the shop lasts until you take it out.

I just bought a pink poogle toy for 50 nps. It's going in my shop. =)

Gosh, and here I was thinking I was just being paranoid (again) - I had that though Jasujo and it's why I didn't put a PPT in my shop. Not that I fear any reprisals from TNT toward anyone having a PPT in their shop, I highly doubt that anything like that would happen. Yes, I do still have faith in the staff, Adam and Donna.

xjox, there have been cases of misunderstandings/hurt feelings/beyond bad feelings between PPT and a couple of other fan sites. I think? that was at least part of the reason why for the longest time no one could type PPT, PinkPT, etc. anywhere on the site. There were arguments on the boards, things did get out of hand for awhile there. I believe right now that everyone's cool, but you never know what could happen. I'm a better safe than sorry type of person
