I know I get sleepy when eating turkey, how about you? I hear it contains some chemical called *triptophane* that makes you sleepy. ;)

Not that I can recall. Maybe I was too tired to remember.

Not sure; I was pretty tired anyhow. Thanksgiving dinner with my relatives can do that to me.

But I mentioned that chemical, and for some reason everyone thought I said "turkey fan". o_O

Tryptophan...cures include: trip to Alaska, trip to Europe, trip to the Carribean...stupid Royal Carribean commercial.

I got sleepy a couple times this Thanksgiving since we had turkey 2 times. Not usually, though.

I was tired all day. But I felt better after eating than before.

Maybe just the fact that I had food in me was enough to counter act the triptowhatever.

No need to drive me crazy, I'm close enough to walk.

Haha. Nice. :P

Not that I can remember though, then again. I feel sleepy after eating any big meal (which is what is served along with turkey in my house.)

Well, I got sick on the days on Thanksgiving [just look at my posts on the Werewolf thread], so I don't know if my extreme sleepyness post-turkey had anything to do with the turkey.

Nope...
Black Licorice makes me tired, if I can eat enough of it without puking.

Yeah, I felt a bit sleepy after the Thanksgiving meal. I'm just not sure whether it was the food or the lethargic play of the Dallas/Chicago football game though. o_O

Heh. Then again, I went to bed pretty late the night before...

Nope. Well, not noticably anyway. This year I had slept in a hotel, and it wasn't a very good sleep. I had woken up several times during the night and some times during the morning, so I was pretty tired anyway. Before that, I've never remembered getting sleepy after eating turkey.
