For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

Zero: It's a bit too bright. The grid would probably look better if at a lower opacity, especially over the Kacheek. And while the 3D-ish text is a nice touch, and looks great, it's a bit distracting.
Sapphire Faerie: Yay for inside jokes. =D The 'o.o's (ehehe, it's the phobic! Catch it!) would probably look best if anti-aliased. The subtext and main text in the sig are hard to see- maybe if the subtext had an outline, and the main text was a bit more opaque? Also, the entire sig looks slightly grainy/pixelly, at least, it is on my monitor. :?
Apricus: Amazing. =O But I have to give crits, so: the sig would look better with stars in it, so it would match the avatar. Also, the outline of the Kacheek in the sig is a bit pixelly. Not sure how that could be helped, though.
r4che1: It's a bit too plain. The faded Kacheeks and grid in the background aren't enough. The text is also rather plain. =/
DM was on fire!: I like your use of brushes/textures on the Kacheek. =D But... There's no background. oO And as a result, the set's incredibly plain. The fonts don't really match the Jelly Kacheek, either.
laq: *Blinks* The sig's transparent to me... Anyway. o_0 In the av, there are white pixels in places around the Kacheek. In the sig, the Kacheek's a bit too blurry. Other than those two things, great job. =)
Marissa: Wonderfully done. The only things wrong with the set that I can see are that the outline of the Kacheek in the sig is rather pixelly, and that the main text is a bit thin- it would look better at a slightly larger size, with a thicker outline.
Neopets Addict: The fonts in the sig blend in too much- because of how similar the colours used are, it's hard to make out the subtext, and the main text isn't very clear, as the pastel green and white of the outline and the text match too closely. Also, the background's a bit empty, especially in the sig.
mazil: Great work! It's simplistic elegance. However, the black of the subtext doesn't match. At all. =P
Neko: You should have stayed with one of the two borders you used. Because you used two entirely different ones for the sig and the av, the two graphics don't match. One of the two Kacheeks in the sig should probably be in a different pose than the one they're both in, so that it makes the sig more interesting. I think you added too much glow to the main sig text. Lastly, the backgrounds of the sig and av don't match- the sig is much lighter-coloured than the av. Really nice job, though. Aside from the border, my crits were minor things. =)
Knives: The sig's WAY too busy, even though it looks great. o_o The border of the sig's really jagged where the text juts out, as well as where the shapes are. The subtext is a bit hard to read- the font isn't meant to be that small, in my opinion. Last, the large white stars in the sig are a bit excessive- they're not necessary, though they're a nice touch.
DM and r4che1.

DM, Zero, and r4che1 cannot participate in this round. Warnings to Neopets Addict and Sapphire Faerie.
Now everyone give a round of applause for the fact that Alex finished her ratings!
Okay, okay. Rissa, no complaints about this round. Scott, there will be no future rounds for you. Xil, you have much better suggestions than Scott.
Requirements
-Make a wallpaper
-Dimensions of the wallpaper are to be 800x600
-You must use a Final Fantasy image. The image can be of a Final Fantasy game character or some major aspect of FF(like chocobos). If you need assistance with finding an image, or aren't sure about an image, just say so, since I know not everyone is familiar with FF.
Please post any questions, as I'm almost positive I forgot to mention something.

I've never made a wallpaper before.

Anyway, which series can it come from? Can it come from any one? Because, I know, there are 10 or something.

So, FF games only, or can we use images from the movies (The Spirits Within, Unlimited, & Advent Children) too?

Darn, I'm gone. Oh, well. See ya in PPTTG 5! (And Flame, if you put a limit on how many times a person can enter...it won't be pretty. XD)

Flame, when's the deadline for this one? Because I won't be able to start on it until Saturday. If it is before Saturday, I will have to withdraw.

Don't worry about time. I give 7 days for people to complete their wallpaper from the time I post the requirements.

Space on the left intentionally left blank for desktop icons if this was infact a real wallpaper. If your monitor is 800x600, feel free to use it and see what I mean if you don't already know.
Btw, I *REALLY* like neko's wallpaper, I think it is quite amazing. Great job Neko. ^^ (now only if it was bigger!
