The lamp was really easy to make, you will need to go to Michael's (or another craft store) and get:

1 white/beige lampshade (not the ridged one or the muslin)
1 electric Candle stick lamp. (you could use another if you really wanted)
6 packs of dried pressed flowers (I used red and yellow) - you can find these with the scrapbooking stuff.
1 bottle of Hodgepodge (it's a non-flammable , water-based glue)
1 length of green ribbon (I just bought a spool of .70 ribbion and just cut a length)
Scupltey (Green, brown, the flesh tone type)
1 brush (something to apply the paint)
Hot glue/super glue
Toothpicks

Lampshade.
Take the flowers, hodgepodge and the lampshade. Using the brush gently apply the glue to the backs of the flowers and place them, glueside down on the lampshade. Arrange them by color, or however you wish until the shade is covered. It's easier to do 1 flower at a time, you might want to decide what arrangement you want to use before hand. You might not use all of the flowers depending on just how you want the shade to look. Once you're done applying the flowers, put aside to dry.

Candlestick
This is the easiest part really, take a dab of hot glue and place the end of the ribbon to it and the base of the stick and wrap the stick with the ribbon until it's completely covered to where the bulb is and take another dab of glue to secure it in place.

The Faerie

Take the scupltey and knead it until it's soft and pliable. Next form a ball for a head, shoulders/neck, arms and legs with the flesh tone. Then make a dress out of the green. Carefully assemble the parts together to form the faerie's body. You will need to use a toothpick through the bottom of the neck/head/shoulders to support it and as well as through one of the legs, so she can stand upright. You'll need to constanly wipe your hands after handling the green or else the color will pass to the flesh tone. Also try to smooth out the seams on the sculptey so it looks smooth and as one piece.

Next to make the hair, you take a piece of brown sculptey (after you knead it) and flatten it and place it carefully on the back of your faerie's head. You'll want to smoother it out a bit to shape the hair as you see fit.

For her eyes, you can paint them on, draw them on, or use 2 very small pieces of brown sculptey to form balls and gently press them to her face. If you paint/draw them you have to wait until she's cooked.

With the wings, green sculptey, flatten and shape into your wings and then gently press it against the back of your faerie's dress. Don't worry if the wings are a little flimsy. Then place the whole thing wings down on a cooking sheet (I use a pyrex baking dish) and cook the Sculptey for 15 minutes at 275 F (following the sculptey's directions).

Once the clay is baked, allow it to cool before painting on the face and then apply glue to the back of the faerie's wings to attach her to the base of the lamp and hold her still until she's attached. Once she's all cool and set, you can gently bend the wires inside the shade open to fit over the light bulb, and plug her in after placing her on your favorite desk.

Hope that helps!
