Ni hao = hello/how are you?
zai jen = bye
xie xie = thank you
ni zste boo zste dow _insert place/name/word_ zai na bien? = do you know _inserted word_ is?
ni = you
wo = me/I

those are a few things, unless these are the words you know already, that are somewhat vital in anyplace. Hope you have fun!!
