Elily secured her pack on her back, and carefully climbed up on Anjiel's horse, waiting for Anjiel to mount the horse too. Aurora hovered above her head, and did nothing in particular, though she seemed to be watching Kyo and Meiou curiously. There was something that seemed to perk the fairy's interest.

Anjiel turned to Kyo, "You aren't weak nor frail, and it'd probably be best if you did ride with Kyo now Meiou, because the other Hylian over under the tree is probably going to need a horse to ride on." Anjiel climbed onto Kolomar's back, being careful not to knock or hit Elily in the process. She carefully lead Kolomar over to the weary Goron and his Hylian friend, Malon looked up at her and smiled, "Don't worry, I'll send them both after you later, you've waited long enough, get a move on!"

Anjiel chuckled then flicked Kolomar's reins, spurring him into a light trot and out of the gate of Lon Lon Ranch.

((We've waited long enough, let's get a move on! I have lots planned for Lake Hylia and wanna get there soon.

Also, I'm giving you all an early warning, I'll be going on holiday to Florida on the 27th of December and arriving back on the 26th of January. I MIGHT have access to the internet but I'm not sure yet, and a few days after that I'm going back to school, and before that there's Christmas so I'll be on less in about 2 weeks and I'll need someone to take care of Anjiel while I'm away. Please PM me if you can, because I need to give you some more info to keep the story alive while I'm away. Thanks before hand :) ))

Making sure Storm was set, Maya nodded. "I'm ready to go," she stated softly, glancing at each of the others. Then she glanced around the ranch, catching each place she could in memory. This may be the last time she saw something so beautiful...

Clearing that thought out of her head, Maya nodded again, this time to herself. Shifting her position slightly, she lightly spurred Storm into a trot, and followed Anjiel and Elily.

Meiou suddenly flipped into the air and managed to land on the horse without any problems. He then chuckled and looked at Kyo offering a hand to her to help her up. He wondered what this adventure would be like.

Nunaamr'e spurred his horse towards Anjiel and the kokiri Elily. He was wondering how the rest of the zora would react when he got back so soon.

"You show off..." Kyo muttered as she gently smacked his hand away and simply climbed up onto the horse, now sitting behind Meiou. "...but then again...you were always a show off..."

((Glass has offered to take care of Anjiel and the RP while I'm away. So from the 27th of December to the 26th of January she will be the temporary boss.))

Kolomar sped up once he was out on the field, they would have to spend at least one night on the field, and during the night all the Stalchilds came out, so they'd need to be prepared to fight. Anjiel led him towards the direction of the lake, she kept one hand on the reins and one ready to grab her bow in case a peahat decided to chase after them.

He blinked as she smacked his hand away. "Ah come on Kyo you used to like it when i showed off. I only do it because it always got a giggle or a smile out of you."

||Speedy post. I'll probbaly have to edit this later, I'm at school at the moment.||

Tiir had already mounted Morning Star, and was trotting her around the ranch, practicing with herswrod aboard the horse. she couldn't help feeling that a knowledge ofhow to fight on horseback would be an asset.

She saw the others mounting their horses, and moments later Anjiel passd her on Kolomar. She sheathed her sword and dug her heels lightly into Morning star's side. The horse knew what to do, and trotted after Anjiel, speeding up as she entered the field. The pair remained just behind Ajiel and Kolomar.

Tiir quicklybecame accustomed to being on horseback, and rwached into her pack, drawing out the old map of her fathers she had stored there. It was one of her most prized possessions. She located their location on it. Judging by the map they'd have to make camp at leaston night before reachinghyrule lake, and this was not safe territory. Even without Stalchilds around, her fathers scrawly handwriting indicated that peahats nested around the area. Tiir moved one hand to the hilt of her sword and stowed the map away, concentrating on keeping Morning Star on track--and behind Kolomar. She could sense that the horse wanted to run, but she shouldn't use her energy up too quickly.

||I know it's a lousy post. Don't kill me for my writers bock.||

"Yes...we were children then...and everything was in order then. This land was still a beautiful place...not now..." she sighed, "...lets just go before they leave us behind. '...just because we meet again...doesn't mean that I should smile...times have changed...so have I...' Kyo thought as she glanced away and towards the other making their way towards the field.

Anjiel drew her bow out when she spotted the familiar conical shape of a peahat in the direction they were going. Its golden scales glittered in the sun and the thin crimson spines on its head floated in the light breeze of the field. Anjiel's eyes widened when she noticed smaller shapes floating above the larger peahat, she quickly handed Elily the reins and put her bow back, "Keep going, circle around to the right and stay as far away from the peahats as possible." As she slipped one leg to the other side of Kolomar she smiled, then she jumped off shouting, "And don't worry about me," before rolling and unsheathing her sword.

Running forward Anjiel lifted her Hylian shield up, the peahat quivered before uprooting itself from the ground and charging towards Anjiel, its hard blades spinning mercilessly. She ducked down, her chin on her knee, and held the shield above her, the peahat took no notice of the others riding by and focused all of its attention on striking her. "Perfect," she whispered before rolling out from under the shield directly underneath the peahat. With a cry of strength she thrust her sword straight into the peahat's fleshy underbelly, it jerked up in pain and she squirmed to get out from beneath it.

Just as Elily was riding back past Anjiel ran forward, sheathing her sword and leaping to grab onto Kolomar's saddle. She grunted as she heaved herself properly onto his back, carefully taking the reins out of Elily's hands and spurring him forward at a gallop to escape the peahat.

((You can all start random battles like that one if you want to, i don't mind :) And I didn't instantly kill that peahat, i only injured it so we could get past. I don't want anyone instantly killing enemies, that's just stupid, and if any of you want to shoot arrows or things at the peahat be my guest :) On the field you can run into peahats and keese (bird things) during the day, and stalchilds during the night.... oh, and maybe some poes too :P ))

((EDIT: And if anyone is interested, I just put all the posts (relevant to the story) into a word document, and it's 19 pages long (12,623 words)... mind you its a bit annoying it's taken us that long to leave the ranch, but we had to establish a lot of story and background/ character info. Hopefully the next part will go by a little faster. And thankyou to everyone for all your interest in this, and your effort in posting and creating detailed characters.))

(hope this is ok)

As they were circling around another peahat shot up an knocked him off the horse. He flipped back up to his feet managing to block its attacks with his blade. "Jus go! I can handle this on my own."

((Meiou, can you please write at least 3 sentences in each post? And make sure your grammer and spelling it acurate and correct. You can also post larger, more informative posts where your character does many things, you don't have to, but it is easier to create scenes and develop characters this way.))

Tiir ignored Meiou's cry for them to go. She wheeled Morning Star around, pulling her sword from it;s sheath. She dug her heels into Morning star's Side, urging the horse into an all-out gallop toward the peahat attacking Meiou.

She ducked beneath the still-distracted peahat, tightening her grip on her sword.

"Yeeeahhh!" he shouted, letting go of the reins and using bothe hands to jam her sword powerfully into the peahat's underside.

She grabbed hold of the reins again, throwing herself flat as Morning Star barrelled out from beneath the wouded monster.

Sun Dec 12, 2004 5:46 pm

The cry had distracted Meiou long enough for the peahat to strike through his defense. This resulted in Meiou being sent flying into a rotting tree and then falling down a hole in the ground. His sword was broken and he was now unconscious from the blow and fall.

During this period he breifly began to dream of his childhood where he and Kyo used to play together. This dream took place before the evil had come. The dream was not only showing him how they played together but reminding him that she was the first friend he really had.
