one died in october, the other commited suicide friday. i just found out.

That's horrible. I can't imagine what you are feeling now, and I won't pretend like I do. I guess all I can say is that I'm sorry for your loss and I hope that everything gets better.

Suicide is ridiculous. I am very sorry for your loss... how old were they?

Cole was 16, Sandy was 15.

Such a waste of life. I am so sorry for you. My best friend died when I was 16--she was 15 and had a heart condition and died while in gym class at school. We had been friends since we were 2 or so. I still think of her a lot and I am old, old, old. And, my little sister, the sweetest kid to roam the earth, I swear (no offense to all of the other sweet kids out there) died when I was 19 and she was 17. Don't even ask me if I have ever gotten over that one--because I haven't and that, again, was years ago.

Life is horribly unfair. And, yet we find a way to go on. So sad.

Unfortunately, some people are so depressed that they can't see any other option but suicide. And, cannot realize how many people they hurt by taking that option.

I hope that you are not beating yourself up because of this--like maybe you could have done something to stop them or change them. Because you couldn't. I felt that way for years after my sister died. If only I had called her before she went out. If only I had told her to stop seeing that guy (she died in a car accident--partially caused by drinking while driving). It does no good whatsoever.

I wish I had better advice. I just try to think of the ones I have lost in my life--every so often so that they are not forgotten--and remember the good times we had together. I think that they would want that, you know?

I'm so sorry koala, that's awful. I think I know how you feel, both my grandmas died this year, one in may the other in November, one of them was a really good friend. I hope you feel better.

Im so sorry. I wish there was something I could do or say that would make you feel better but there is nothing. All I can say is that all of us at ppt will be here if you ever need to talk and I will keep you in my prayers. Stay strong and talk to the people around you, it will help.

I am very sorry Koala. I don't know how it is to lose a friend therefore I'm not going to sit here and give you advice on something I have no idea about. Sandy I believe commited suicide? Please don't take it on yourself as in it was your fault. Some people get depressed sometimes and as MorningStar said, they see no other option.

I would try not to talk about it and try remembering the good times you had with both friends. Just remember this, "Everytime a door closes, another one opens up,".

Don't worry. You still have your friends in your heart and you can remember them. I've lost 2 frinds. Their mother drugged them, then burned all three of them to death. I still remember them.
