The fact that when I go clubbing, it looks like I'm one of the bouncer's kid brothers is irrelevant, plus it even works out to be a decent conversation starter as long as you have a decent witty response for "Are you allowed to be here" or "How did you get here?" That and several pieces of ID help.

Hooray for ID. Recently, I was designated driver for my friends and I was just getting a 7 Up, but I was ID'd anyways. The guy didn't believe me and I had to pull out 5 pieces of ID. He only let me have the drink once I pulled out my Library card! Let me tell you, I felt like hot stuff.

No, just the lousy signature for me too, but I think the sheer number of IDs finally proved I wasn't reeeeeally a 12 year old sneaking into a club for a soda pop.

thats odd... i know in the UK it's no illegal to let someone into a club that's under 18 (not the one i worked in anyway) it was only illegal to serve them alcohol once they were in there, so by that logic they shouldnt have been ID-ing you for buying a soft drink!
