I DEMAND to know, why were BOTH of my pets changed to asparagus chia's on the 20th of december??? I'm not really complaining as asparagus is a fairly cool veggie but seriously BOTH of my pets without any warning or anything. C'mon what's going on here? - lucifixer
It IS Adam's birthday and we know he is obsessed with asparagus. It must be something to do with him Rest assured, the change is only temporary and your Neopets will be back to normal tomorrow.

Can you please redo the referral program. Seeing as how you can get a paint brush (approx 20k+ value depending on type) for 10 referrals, but for 20 you only get 2000 np. Doesn't really seem right... What do you think? - sevenofnine14
The referral program is something we have been thinking about re-visiting several times. The prizes were added a long time ago and some of them just dont make sense now. In the New Year we will take a closer look at it and adjust it.

A Grarrl of noble spirit, Galgarroth was a trusted friend and advisor to Lord Darigan during the kingdom's more peaceful days. When the citadel invaded Meridell to retrieve their stolen orb, Galgarroth served as second-in-command to Lord Darigan, and commanded his armies.

However, when the power of the orb drove Darigan mad, the Yellow Knight (who had escaped the Darigan Citadel with the aid of Master Vex) was able to convince Galgarroth that his lord had gone insane and become a threat. Along with the aid of both Meridell and Darigan's forces, they were able to destroy the Spectre of Darigan. Later, during the Kass wars, Galgarroth was punished for not giving in to Kass's false lordship over the citadel.

Bori was the latest Neopet to be added. We have plans to add a new one (sort of looks like an otter) early in the new year.

We all have a favorite Paint Brush we dream of one day painting our pets--mine happens to be purple. I was so excited when I finally purchased a purple petpet paint brush only to find out my beautiful little companion was going to have ORANGE SPOTS! It was tied into why orange Grundos and purple Grundos had their big rivalry on Kreludor. As we didnt do the Kreludor plot, its doesn't really make sense now. Oh wow that was a long time ago. I can't really remember, I believe they were just turned into one of the four basic colours at random.
