it snowed today :cry: ..a record 2 inches for me, and we could've gotton out of school :evil: , but we were already out.... 0:)

I hate it when things like that happen.
When our town floods you don't have to go to school.
But it used to end up flooding at the weekend :(

We had flood days when I was younger. The middle school is right in front of a big creek. ;P We also had "sleet days". It supposedly snowed last night. I haven't been motivated enoough to wander to the window yet.

There's going to be a buncha snow in Cincinnati. Some say over 10 inches, but I don't know if that's true or not.

It's too bad we're already out of school. :(

Where do you live that you can get out of school with only two inches???

Where I'm from it's like "Only two feet? HA! Get your butt to school!"

i live in the part of texas where the guy who comes and puts suger or salt or watever to melt the ice, never come. so if its two inches, the school is on a really busy street.. (hence the day dreaming on how to break out) , so, they "dont want" any of the students to be killed..
theres never been 2 feet of snow in texas...most is probly like....5 in.

My school closes when:
-There's too much snow to move (which means at least 3 feet)
-The city orders it to close
-When buses begin crashing (but only if a lot are)

We get two hour delays if they haven't finished clearing roads on occassion, or if it's really cold like it was on monday. (a big fat 0 degrees)

My school does not close when:
-There's less than 3 feet
-Buses are sliding into major intersections
-Students slip and fall on school grounds because they haven't salted sidewalks.

Man I wish it would say in one temp range. Yesterday it was about 72ish and today it was 34..wind chill was 23

it snowed on monday here.
for about five minutes.
now?
its windy. very. very. windy, so windy ive just had to go outside and pick up my dads motorbike at 4am.
very windy then.
