It has reached the end of the year. So, what was the best song of the year? Was it Gwen Stefani's "What are you waiting for" or Bowling for Soup's "1985" , I don't know, it's up to you, the people,so nominate your songs and on New Year's Eve, find out the best song of 2004 ;)

all songs need to be nominated by 12/25/04

Singles eh? I would love to nominate "My Immortal" but it was released in 2003. Great idea by the way.

Top Singles of the Year

2. Lose My Breath- Destiny's Child
3. Baby It's You- Jojo
4. Just Lose It - Eminem
5. Let Go - Frou Frou
6. What You Waiting For? - Gwen Stefani
7. Rich Girl - Gwen Stefani
8. Lala - Ashlee Simpson
9. Nobody's Home - Avril Lavigne
10. I Just Wanna Live - Good Charlotte
11. 1, 2 Step- Ciara feat. Missy Elliot
12. Broken - Seether feat. Amy Lee (Was that released in 2004 or 2003?)
13. Always - Blink 182
14. My Boo - Usher feat. Alicia Keys
15. My Prerogative - Britney Spears
16. Since U Been Gone - Kelly Clarkson

---

Will add more once I think of some.

My opinion is that number one should be Yeah by Usher.

That song just dominated this year. It's still got me singing. O_o

*sigh* if only I could get some of you guys to listen to some people that don't happen to be on major labels but would blow your precious minds.

Tegan and Sarah - Walking with a ghost
Jarvis Humby - The Man With The X-Ray Eyes
High School Sweethearts - After School Special
Cokctail Slippers - Hey (Joey Ramone)
Outrageous Cherry - Why Don't We Talk About Something Else?
Hawaii Mud Bombers - Wolf 'N' the Lamb

I'd suggest some of you check up on these songs on Kazaa, if they were even big enough to make it there. 8)

Too bad. Closest thing we've got today to rock n' roll...
