*runs around like a chicken with her head cut off* ahhhh!!! I missed the last two minutes!! I was watching, and Shannon was walking over to Sayid.....then all of a sudden the screen went blue and a guy came on saying " This is the Hancock County Sheriffs office. The national weather service out of Cleveland has issued a Level 2 snow emergency for the following counties..." I didn't hear what counties, because I was too busy screaming at the tv, "Nooooooo!!!! Couldn't you wait until a commercial???" So I didn't get to see the last two minutes, or the preview for next episode. Can anyone fill me in?



Although, the parts I did see, I've never laughed harder at the show than when Sawyer was trying to open that case.


So we learned a little more about Kate's back story. I don't care! I want to know Hurley's story!!!

I was cooking so I had to tape the episode, unfortunately it does these extremely annoying dramatic pause when it's finished recording, so rather than seeing the last few seconds and the preview {if there was one} it paused until the bad robot image popped up and Alias started. >.<
I wonder if that was really Shannon's voice when she was singing...

This episode was alright, I didn't love it like I loved "Confidence Man" and "All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues," but OH MY GOD IT'S GREAT TO HAVE LOST BACK!!!

Revelations:

1. Kate is evil.

2. Sayid...Shannon...romance??

3. Boone and Locke aren't telling anyone about what they found...

4. The group now has sufficient ammo to ambush the enemy camp and rescue Claire.


Previews look good. Ooh boy. We definitely have some "Evil Locke" action going on. He hits Boone in the head with the butt of his knife. It looks like Shannon gets caught in one of his traps, too. What exactly is he trying to hide? Evil Locke definitely shouldn't be messed with...he has potential to be like the psycho hunter dude from "The Most Dangerous Game." Not good at all, folks.

It was interesting to catch the parallels and Kate repeating her behavior. She's a tricksy one. Remember in Pilot Part 2 when she grabbed the gun from Sawyer's pocket and then said she didn't know how to use it? She did both of those things in this ep...ah, she's a clever one. Like the marshall said, whatever you do, don't trust her.

Eh, not the best episode, but it was alright.
I thought the whole Kate story was a bit stupid and extremely cheesy.
Sure it brings up questions, but meh.. I don't want to know more about her right now. Give some other characters love!
I did like her playfulness with Sawyer at the beginning though. So much better than what their relationship was at before.
Thought it was pretty gross that they wanted to stay in the water after finding the corpses in it. All I could think about was "Ew! They're swimming in corpse water!" *barfs*
Next episode does look good, personally, I would've smacked Boone and his sister upside their heads long before then

Pretty good episode. I was slightly disappointed that they're just leaving Claire to sink or swim with the baby-killing psychos, and no one seems very upset about it but Charlie (which I think is extremely out of character for Jack - he's obsessed with everyone's welfare, after all). But hopefully we'll hear more about it in the next episodes to come. I'm pretty glad that the next ep is Boone-centric, I've been looking forward to hearing about him and Shannon.

Actually, I don't think she's evil. I got the feeling that the murder she commited wasn't really very voluntary. We'll see.

The previews were VERY good, I'm quiet excited for next week. Your idea about Shannon getting caught in a trap was a good one, I had assumed she got snatched up by the killer invisible mechasaur. But your interpretation is better. lol

I, like robot, am also curious if that was really Shannon singing Beyond the Sea. It was lovely.

1) Boone sees Sayid and Shannon bonding and gets all up in Sayid's face with "Stay away from my sister", and Sayid's like "What if I don't?" We don't see what Boone says will happen if he doesn't, but I personally feel that Sayid would whup Boone if it came to that. lol

2) Boone and Locke are out digging up the thing they found at the end of "All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues". Boone thinks they should tell the others, and Locke's all "Uh, no." and conks Boone on the back of the head with a knife.

3) Shannon's running through the forest screaming for help, and suddenly she gets snatched up by something and carried out of view. I first thought it was the giant invisible killer mechasaur, but Chromey thinks it's one of Locke's traps, which is a good assumption IMO.

4) There might've been other stuff, but I can't remember. Next week's episode is called "Hearts and Minds", will be Boone-centric, and according to ABC: "When Locke learns that Boone wants to tell their "secret" to Shannon, Shannon's life is placed in sudden peril, and the shocking truth about her past with Boone is revealed. Meanwhile, Kate is puzzled by Sun's mysterious behavior, and a hungry Hurley must repay a debt to Jin."
