I know it was over fourty hours, but didn't quite hit the 2 days/48 hours point.

So much for just resting my eyes for a few minutes, eh?

I got to 40 hours, I was so gutted. I blinked, opened my eyes and it was 12 hours later.

Over two days... it happened when I went to a party one night, then left that party the next day and went straight to another one (which I didnt get home from until the next day).

Probably about 35-40 hours, I missed an entire night of sleep and had two full days either side of that night.

I stayed up for 24 hours once. I could probably stay up for longer, but I hate how it makes me feel.

I frequently stay up over 24 hours, but the most I've ever done is about 36.

One weekend though.. was awful:

I stayed up late Wednesday night, but got a normal amount of sleep, sleeping late on Thursday.
Thursday night I didn't sleep at all.
Friday morning I had to go out of town.
We reached our desitination that evening, and I'd been up exactly 24 hours when we got there, and it was still hours until bedtime.
I went to bed, but I was upset due to other events and had trouble sleeping, I slept about three hours.
We left to go home on Saturday afternoon, and arrived home late that evening.
I went to bed almost immediately, but only slept five hours.

So from Thursday morning to Sunday morning, I slept only twice and managed to get a total of eight hours of sleep.

Probably 48 hours...

When I was younger I used to have a sleeping problem - I was never able to fall asleep... I would just stare at the celing all night, and I was never tired afterwards.

I went to a sleepover when i was younger and didn't sleep at all, meaning I was up for about 36 hours. It was quite strange because I didn't feel tired at all.
