And the psp will be able to hook up to your computer and PS2, so you can download stuff, like new vehicles for racing or somethin. And yes, the PSP has wireless mutiplayer, and personally, i think i will have better games too. You can also play movies and music on it, so... I like the PSP, and the PSP will only cost between $150-$200.
DS only 100-150 :P
200+ thanks. :) I'm trying for PSP. MP Hunters just killed the whole experience for me. (It sucked and you know it :P) Although, if I can't get a PSP I'll just settle for a DS.

Number one: It was just a demo.
Number two: It sucked if you used the buttons. It you use the touch screen to aim and the L button (or R button for lefties) to fire, it ROCKED and YOU know it!
I tried all the control styles. :P

The PSP well, with the amount of fanboys running around here, probably will be too (heck, handhelds are overall). Oh, and more people have a vendetta against Nintendo than Sony, which accounts for something obviously.

Well, it is the GOD OF GAMING *thunder* to me. I got it the day it came out and I can say without a doubt, I couldn't be happier. If the DS has one weak point though, it is first impressions. The DS takes a lot a time to get used to and if you only play it for 10 minutes, you won't like it because you won't be good at it. When I first played the Metroid Demo, I thought it was pretty bad. Then I slowly got used to it. Now, I am pulling out the demo pretty often because it is so much FUN! If you really want to have fun with a DS you need to find someone who has one, go to their house, and play it for 30-90 minutes. That is when you find out how much fun the DS is.

Yeah, I'll probably have to play it more. The only thing I really played was the Mario 64 game, which is supposed to be really good. The controls are difficult to get down though. -_- It's fun to chat in Psychology class though. :D

I would suggest the DS first though. It's better buying something you will probably like and have a ton of information on rather than experiment on something you aren't sure about.

No, and from the look of things, it probably won't. But it could. Actually, GC games like FF Crystal Chronicals and Four Swords are coming to DS.

Plus, the DS could go online. Online you say? You're thinking "Kevco is a total loon (and you're right to)."

1st :Alas, the DS is supposedly going to connect to the Revolution. And the Revolution will have a few titles LAN compatable ( kinda like Mario Kart Double Dash. Works with Halo too).

2nd: With a website known as Warppipe.com, these LAN games become online. Sweet! So how will this work out?

3rd: There could be a chance( with some perphirals no doubt) that a DS player could be invented (think of the virtual drawing pads for CPU)

4th: (!Muy importante! Pay Attention!)

DS+Revolution+CPU(x+DS Player)2+CPU+Warpipe=Online Haven.

Maybe this is why Nintendo's been hush-hush on the 'line,ya herdy?

You can't put real batteries in but you can use the GBA charger although I don't know by you would because the DS comes with a charger. And warioware will be out on Valentines Day so, that should keep ANYBODY occupied for a while!

DS already has that. O_o

It's just that it's currently not a used feature.

I'd post my take on the whole deal, but I'm simply going to let time show who wins.

PSP Advantages
- WideScreen

- MP3 player Why would one use his PSP as an mp3 player, when he could buy a walkman, which is made for playing mp3s? And honestly, how much would he use the mp3 feature anyways?
- AC Adapter and Battery Pack DS has the same.
- Analog DS has touch screen. (works beautifully in the place of analog)
- Wireless Lan (Supporting up to 16 players) DS has the same.
- Hooking up to the Internet for multiplayer DS has the same.
- MINI PDA (Calender, Calculator, etc) DS has the same.
- Amazing games on PSP (Dyantasy Warriors, BattleField, Infection, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, etc!!) DS has the same, it just depends on what your opinion of an amazing game is.

- ZELDA GAMES!! Not really a good argument. :-\ (not saying I don't like Zelda games..)
