Okay, I was going to create a pet a few weeks ago, yet found out the name was taken. I looked up the pet, and saw that it was an account that had a yellow poogle. Well, the account was barely a month old, and I know they couldn't have earned enough neopoints for a poogle morphing potion or magical plushie. And I looked up the news and it didn't seem that there were any poogles released the day they signed up. My question is, how did they manage to create a poogle, though? Was it just that they created their account at the certain time that poogles were released (which wasn't recorded on the news)? I'm confused.
It might be someone's extra account. A friend of mine has several of those that she uses to harbor painted pets. Or the user could have found the poogle in the pound.
I checked, and it's the same age as the account. Not to mention the name is something the creator of the account would create (the account is the_newman_family and the poogle is Miguel_the_Houseman, who, on Y&R (Young & the Restless, my favorite soap opera - I have four Y&R themed pets myself) is the Newman's butler-type-guy.
Well, I suppose it could still be someone else's account then, if they just created a pet and sent over a poogle morphing potion. Or maybe the person sold a paint brush from a random event?
I mean, I guess the could have found a poogle morphing potion in a random event, or have created a new account or have a rich friend or something. Or maybe a couple were released, but the neoboards generally go mad when they are.
I suppose that person had 2 accounts, and that he/she transferred money...Or that he/she is really good at games...Or that they bought a magical poogle plushie really cheap because the seller thoiugh it was a regular one...
There's a lot of possibilities...

This reminds me, I've been on neo for a while now, but I've never found this out. What exactly are restricted and limited edition pets? Can they not be created of something? Then why are they an option in the create-a-pet thing? I've always wondered.
