I saw this film recently, and I have to say, the visuals were SPECTACULAR. I love these movies! (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon & Hero were by the same person. Awesomeness.)

I may seek out somebody to make me a set featuring Mei in the dance robes....

Um... Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was directed by Ang Lee. Hero was directed by Yimou Zhang.

I thought it was amazing as well. Visuals were great and a nice twist to the story is great as well! I hope it wins the forgein film award though.

They're so similar, though, and they have that same girl in them.

yeah, they are very alike, but the main difference i see in the two directors is Zhang's use of color. he uses so dramatically, especially in hero. with each story haveing it's own.

i also saw house of flying daggers a while ago, it was astonishingly beautiful, zhang zee yee is amazing. two thumbs up for me

I watched House of Flying Daggers when it was released in Hong Kong. I found it pretty good. I had to watch it all in Mandarin with no English subtitles. I can't really understand Mandarin, so I had to take what I can understand and read what I can't. It's a good thing I can read some Chinese too.

Everyone likes Zhang Ziyi! I think she's okay. I basically watched it because of Andy Lau (he played Leo), my most favourite actor . Gooo Andy Lau!!

I noticed they made a mistake in the commercial. They said the director was the same as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero...but, like Chanel said earlier, Hero and House of Flying Daggers are directed by Zhang Yimou and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is by Ang Lee...

I think the next Chinese movie to come to western theaters is Infernal Affairs. My favourite movie! ^_^

i think they said the same producer as chouching tiger in the commercial, and the same director as hero.

I like Crouching Tiger hidden dragon, and liked the plotline of Hero (Didn't like the effects, too much), and now I'm just waiting to see House of Flying Daggers.
