Leads you to some wierd design heaven website. Whatever happened to Neoitems? They were working fine a week ago, and after the past couple of days totally inaccessable, and now completely gone? o_O

I loved using neoitems. :cry:

EDIT: Now it gives you a down for maintenance message, instead of the design heaven one.

I typed in their address eariler and they had a little not ethere. But I went to that link and got what you guys are talking about. How odd.

Hopefully, NeoItems is temporarily out of action, but it seems that Neo Commentary is gone for good. I have tried to access it for about a week now and cannot. I really liked that site. It had a lot of really great articles analyzing/discussing the new things happening with Neopets. And, had been nicely archived so you could look at the things that happened in the past and get a user's perspective about it--which could be much different from the ever-so-cheery perspective from the Neopets staff.

If it is a matter of funding with these Neofan sites, I really wish that they would make a plea to the people who use these sites. Honestly, I wouldn't mind plunking down 5 or 10 dollars to keep a site going--and I imagine others would feel the same way. In this day and age, $5 is two Starbucks coffees. Frankly, I can do without the caffeine buzz if it means keeping a site going for awhile, you know?

And if it is a legal thing (meaning Neopets having a problem with fansites using its copyrighted name, etc.), Neopets should realize that a lot of people keep playing Neopets because of the fansites. So they shoud realize that it is important that the fansites stay in business. Personally, I would have quit Neo a long time ago if I hadn't found PPT and Neoitems.

If anyone has info on Neo Commentary, please let me know. Being a person who loves to write and who loves to write about Neo, naturally you can correctly assume that I loved that site!
